    Photos can't perfectly reproduce what your brain sees. Shadows are particularly difficult for a camera to reproduce because when you look at yourself in the mirror your eye is constantly adjusting and your brain is constantly interpreting as you look at varying shadows and well lit areas of your face. It's usually the shadows and lighting that makes you look worse in photos.

    But he already panicked and dropped his sledgehammer on his own foot. Nobody will take his threats seriously anymore after the bond market collapse forced him to removed his tariffs less than 24 hours after they were implemented.

    why is the post dated 1 day ago? They reannounced it apparently due to the recent tariffs. It appears they will use this for negotiating and possibly threaten to cancel it if they can't get a reasonable deal on tariffs.

    Well Trump did put tariffs on Diego Garcia, so maybe he's anticipating them surrendering to the Chinese. Although, I think it's more likely he had no idea the only thing there is a US military base when he decided to tariff them.

    Trump really didn't think much when he made these tariffs. The formula he used was simple and childish--The trade deficit divided by the total exports. Thats it. There was no grand master plan to hurt China. The only reason SEA got hit so hard is that the US has a big trade deficit with SEA countries. Other countries with nothing to do with China such as poor Lesotho got hit just as hard just because of their trade deficit.

    Americans don't want to work in factories anyway, even for the current high wages in the US. That's the bizarre part of this trade war. Nobody wants the jobs Trump is trying to bring back.

    That seems like a certainty if these tariffs stay until then. I don't think Americans are going to tolerate the inflation that is coming or resulting job losses.

    Xi doesn't have to face elections. He can wait indefinitely. He can easily wait a couple of years until the US midterms. After that, the new democrat controlled congress will simply remove the tariffs if the orange lunatic hasn't already done so by then.

    Nope, Thai never gave refunds for cancelled flights. I lost my money. I don't know why anyone still flys this scam airline.

    The seating depends on the airline. There is a lot of variation, especially in business class. Thai has the worst business class. Singapore's 787 is like heaven. 1-2-1, complete privacy and the best food.

    You should only go without medical insurance if you have significant cash reserves to pay for any medical expenses. I wouldn't do it if I had less than 5 million baht available to pay for medical expenses.
