It's very unfortunate that there is no vaccine available for this but for all the other things that there Are VACCINE AVAILABLE then go and get them It's vitally important to ignore anti-valuers and their pernicious nonsense. Polio is a good example of a terrible disease that was eliminated by vaccination programs.

"If it was my daughter, I would have dragged the bus driver out of the bus and beat him to death" Oh no you wouldn't. That just American hyperbole combined with machismo. Before your road rage got started you would be on your back with a crowd of angry citizens armed with hoes and shoes giving you a good thrashing. "If it were my daughter I would be in the ambulance; all the way to the hospital" Might be a more appropriate response.

The cultural difference is a chasm. That's not even allowing for differences in class and education etc. How many Thai men do you meet who have the same level.of education as you, and can speak English and how many people here speak excellent Thai? And are highly educated? I am the latter but can't do the former.

Hamas Leaders Ordered to Disarm in Doha Amid Ceasefire Push
Magictoad replied to Social Media's topic in The War in Israel
Hamas & Hezbollah are fascist, death worshipping cults. We need to see their leaders and their families all eliminated; along with the rest of Gaza. And the Generation Z anti Semites should all have their western privileges revoked and be forced to watch non stop the films that were taken when the concentration camps were opened up. Then, and only then will they understand the meaning of the term genocide. -
Tourism Pattaya's New Tourist Tide: Indian Visitors Stir Up Debate
Magictoad replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Years ago the baht buses were full of white people from America and Europe but they were white; currently the tourists are brown. So the buses are full of brown tourists. Are you sure that is not the issue for you? Unconscious racism? Indians are very jolly and their dancing is MAD! -

Why? That is really patronising. Hinduism and Buddhism share many beliefs and shared imagery. Also the Indian Cinema is great fun! -

An old racist cliche. You might as well just make fun of the new Digital Nomads who are surfacing in Pattaya on a very tight budget. -

The Indians have built their own massive clubs on WS and elsewhere. The middle class Indians are big spenders but there are some racists who won't admit it. -

Magictoad replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Unfortunately it looks like she has been nicked and is now fabricating tall stories to seek mitigation of her sentence. Though it's a mild crime to us to the Georgians it's very serious & shocking. She'll need all.the help she can get to avoid jankey. -

Anybody considering growing their own again?
Magictoad replied to tomster's topic in Thailand Cannabis Forum
I presume it seasonal.just like other herbaceous plant which this year is February to July but last year was different. Growing outside is weather dependent which is changeable. Some of the best I ever had was the leaves that got left behind in the bottom of a box. I sold it as Tijuana Gold in London. Theoretically the leaves have zero THC but this batch certainly did. Growing outside in an English climate was my main source of income for five years. -
