I don't think he's unhinged. Just hated with an incredible amount of animosity directed towards him especially since he won the election - humiliating the Democrats and exposing them for what they are. If he's unhinged where does that leave the Democrats?

Accidents happen. Young people get injured too not just adults. 16 YO is the minimum age to work in the UK. Nobody needs a "Special permit". We need money to buy food to put on our family's table. All the more so in Thailand I should think.

When I came here in 1990 I worked without a work permit. Nobody at the small school had a work permit. We were all qualified to teach. It was only after I left that I discovered I was the one who was not gay.

It's virtually impossible for a farang/ foreigner to work illegally or run a business here. The foreigner will be grassed up, touted on or nformed on within days. They stand out like a sore thumb. Chinese or Burmese can work easily because they can meld into the population. But no chance your for average European. I think these stories are BS and or highly exaggerated.

Also because their health care system is privatised so the costs of vaccination plays a part in their beliefs. POLIO caused terrible damage to children and adults until the vaccine wiped it out. MEASLES caused terrible damage to children and adults until it was eradicated by a vaccine. When I was growing up as a child in Manchester in Britain in the 60s I remember seeing these poor people in leg irons and leather strap. They were pitiful. I remember going for my vaccination as a child in a run down clinic in South Manchester. I remember being scared of the needle. But I was more scared of getting polio. We had the NHS in England then so important vaccination were free. Thank God. I believe in vaccinations 100%. People who preach against vaccines are sick and doing damage to our society.

I don't think everyone is a clueless idiot just because they choose not to integrate with the native population of any given country. Supposing I lived in Germany for a 10 years or Russia? Why should I bother to integrate with either peoples? It would make me the novelty and possibly force me into loads of unwanted conversations.

You don't need to know the blood/ alcohol levels of any given country. They are irrelevant if you DONT DRINK AND DRIVE. It's that simple: especially with all the taxi services running these days. Nobody needs to break the law and then whine about it on a forum like this.

Drunk driving is one of the WORST CRIMINAL OFFENCES frequently resulting in the death of innocent people. The writer of this unedifying story is a shameless disgrace. He is lucky he didn't crash his car, injured his girlfriend and hurt a stranger. Zero sympathy from me. Two weeks in prison plus a fine.
