I would like to get my UK passport checked. I am aware there is no longer a British Consulate or embassy to visit. So what is the alternative? The back cover has some writing which i wrote in during a siezure. It's the very back, last page otherwise blank and of no official use. Where can I take it to be checked? It depends by what values you measure a country's greatness? Literacy is one issue; people in prison; is another measurement. Relative wealth: how far/ how many wage packets is a person away from losing their home? Immigration v emigration; how many people want to leave the USA? And death rates America has one of the highest deaths by violence/including guns & drugs in the whole world. But I don't the think Trump and his MAGA crew care too much about those things/ people.

Err on the side of caution and get a new passport ASSP. Why mess around? You know you have to have one. It's probably easier to sort it out hear than in the UK.
