Kissing on the mouth
Somewhat recently I had a reasonably attractive bar girl ask me... Did you shave today? I shaved my puxxy (smile) ..do you want to eat it? I laughed and said..I think I'll stick to the wife, that's a rather public puxxy.

Indian Tourists Defy Trends, Boost Thai Arrivals Amid Airline Woes
I think this is a myth. Perhaps 2-3 I'm sure they finish quickly. It's probably the same thrashing they'd get from one farang I'm sure many of those gals not much on the open market. Heavy, well past prime

Indian Tourists Defy Trends, Boost Thai Arrivals Amid Airline Woes
Conversely, obtaining an Indian visa thru their shonky website is as convoluted and tedious as one would expect from India. If unawares ... Take Thai bureaucracy add three levels of additional complications and five levels of indifference

Kissing on the mouth
Well, if you're marrying the woman then presumably she's (hopefully) still not working in the bar!! *I would highly recommend not marrying a prostitute for many reasons. From a health perspective imo - it's not ok to kiss a prostitute. In or out of the bar. From a cultural perspective, public kissing is not a Thai thing. In fact, outside Japan, I don't think kissing is an Asian thing at all.

Why do people want to live in Isaan?
Boring af, poverty everywhere, dusty, food can be ok but also nasty, drug and alcohol problems, need transport for dangerous roads, schools are crap, hot af It's for people that can't hack the city tbh. Wives, gf from region. Certainly don't do your kid any favors by keeping them in Issan schools It's almost ok to live in KK or ubon but after that seems you're just a waster on some desolate dusty island desert. No Bangkok beauties, no subway, no 24/7 food. When it's all said and done and you add in the car living up country is probably more expensive than moving in Bangkok

Thai Farmers Sound Alarm as US Trade Talks Threaten Local Agriculture
This is absurd. Thailand can import feed corn, wheat etc agriculture that helps not hurts the farmers and consumers. Beef for consumers while Thai beef improves (with feed corn). That's what fair trade is about No county can compete with pork and chicken here. It's practically free. One thing certain...the day of reckoning coming FAST and Thailand better know precisely what it wants for the next decade.... None of this matters anyway. Purchases won't rebalance trade. The problem lies with Chinese factories in Thailand repackaging goods. Thai Examiner has excellent article on this.

Thailand's Digital Baht Plan Targets Big-Spending Tourists
Another farcical idea. How many tourists will avail themselves to this? Probably next to zero. According to the article Thailand itself is only fifth in crypto - in the region. Thailand needs to stop dreaming, challenge the existing status quo and change, innovate. Drop the convoluted ideas. Tourists are simple, working and middle class people and always will be. Get a grip

Kissing on the mouth
Always get a good morning (/night) kiss from wife as well. Thai protip: Never kiss in public. Giving wife a quick unassuming peck goodbye is ok. Don't even hold hands with a rental. You're just embarrassing yourself ffs

What Would Make You Leave Thailand, Permanently?
That would be absolutely fatal. No one is going to park 2m thb simply to live in this broken country. On 2M/60k USD that's a loss of about 2,500usd per year on simple interest. That's close to the minimum monthly wage of Thailand per month in lost interest. In other words, poor Thais could and do live on the amount that would be lost in simple interest alone. It's also probably a years auto insurance premium and a huge chunk of a private health insurance policy. There would be such a hard exodus that the only people left would be characterized as total losers simply because staying would be characterized as such a stupid move. What's more there would be such acrimony that the only people that might return would be those with family. I don't see any retirees that would want to do a 6/6 after getting the boot. Too much bitterness

I think the changes are largely indirect. For instance, the tightening of bank requirements. The scrutiny of immigration at entry points and entry exit rules. Taxes will come into mix just wait and see At CW some good things too... 90 day online, queing system more civilized, seemingly less pickiness from IOs, pu extension w/o showing photocopy of balance, processing is a bit more streamlined. About five years back lots of arbitrariness. The thing I can't get over is why they won't go to multi year extension for family extension at least. Two year for 5+ years, 3 years 10+ and five year for 15+ marriages 👍. I think the concern is they want to check deposits... Thailand doesn't court it's expat community. It's very indifferent at best. That needs to change. The average Thai has no savings and is in debt. Each legal expat is backed by min 400k banked and probably a monthly spend of at least 25k. It all needs to move online as well.

Pattaya imposes 5,000 baht fine for smoking on beaches and footpaths
I'm not a smoker and dislike the second hand smoke intensely. I can understand a littering fine of 5,000 baht. But the notion of smoking in a outdoor area being illegal just strikes me as another bull<deleted> Thai law. I wonder how many Chinese getting caught up in this scam will it take for another few thousand to decide not to Holiday here. Chinese are legend smokers

That's a good bit of time to be sure. So, US isn't option unless you leave her. At least she has citizenship. Well, off topic. Get her to swap out bran oil for palm oil. Seems you can well afford. All fruit is good. Nothing wrong with a bit of sticky rice. It's doubtful she gets much exercise I'm guessing. Start demanding she take better care of herself as you're footing the bill Move to BKK. Better lifestyle, healthier despite air. No one thinks fat = money here. That's peasant think

Will the Epstein saga tear MAGA apart?
I'm certain it's personal and why wouldn't it be? Epstein is dead. Maxwell in prison. *Victims* are seeking restitution. the story is decades old I think people forget this. This is not to say that I wouldn't want to see that dirty list and who might be on those videotapes. But all this misses the point and that is the real story is his involvement with the CIA and money laundering and that's why Trump doesn't want to mess with it. It's basically a name and shame and another outing of CIA skullduggery - because when it comes out that he is laundering money for the CIA the question is what for? Flashback 70s?? All of this is a total clusterfoc for Trump and will embroil his administration in this quicksand for the balance of his time in office. In fact, Washington is so slow and cumbersome that it might even lapse into the Vance administration. But Trump has a chance to get even with the people that set upon him with the American legal system and attempted to ruin his life in jail him forever. I certainly understand where he might be coming from if this is indeed the case.

Insurance that is real expensive AND covers nothing. I'd love to see reasonably priced, solid insurance. Yeah, no idea where he's come from but Thailand as a rule doesn't grandfather anything it's too complicated for their simple minds to keep track of. The situation with weed is a perfect example of not grandfathering anything and cutting off one's nose despite their face

What Would Make You Leave Thailand, Permanently?
No idea how long you been married when I say this so.. grain of salt You would move your illness prone wife back to the United States and pay for her care out of pocket? There's nothing wrong with the food here pal. I live on this stuff and I'm never sick. My wife lives on the stuff and she's only sick rarely with a cold type illness. Neither of us got covid Is genetics or it's whatever she's eating behind your back Thai food is by and large healthy and it's my opinion that it's what keeps the entire country is healthy as it is. compared to the United states, UK, Germany, most of Northern Europe, all of the Middle East, etc etc

What Would Make You Leave Thailand, Permanently?
Both government and the general vibe. It's fine now. Not trying to create a controversy when none exists. Nevertheless, I sense exhaustion. Would be one thing if the average tie was benefiting from the tourism and the mayhem but they are not... they do have to deal with the fallout. I can tell you that large and even massive suitcases on the MRT at peak hours is unnerving even for me. The backpacks that are not taken off and left on the tourists backs. This is all while the ties are basically grinding it out to and from work. When you look at their faces they are very unhappy My wife is also content in Bangkok. She's got a fun job that she enjoys and is making a bit of money. She would love to move to the United States but understands what that will cost and is perfectly fine being here. I'd love to see another thread open on what might be a good country or good countries to retire in with a Thai wife I really don't want to go back to the United states. California is out of control and that pretty much only leaves me Florida. I think we both enjoy Italy but expected to be almost expensive as the United States and full of its own problems.
