animal welfare is a big problem here and some of us expats here have organized and are helping out of pocket to address this.

covid has killed the sex scene. apart from the go go bars Thai woman are way to conservative and present too much of a cultural and language barrier. its an exclusive culture. the West has the most open minded woman, but still many good reasons to stay in Thailand.

i loved Malibu in the 50's-70's all deleted up now. too many kooks and dot coms now. can't get a wave to yourself. very uptight.

the last straw for me was when i was recovering from IMRT for prostate cancer. anyway one of the side effects is that you have to urinate a lot since the radiation causes swelling of the bladder. i was in WLA and urgently ran across the street to a restaurant to use the gents. L.A. cops see this and pulls over and follows me into the restaurant. i explained the situation and he would not give me a pass. but instead gives me a $100 ticket for jaywalking. i told him than that i would be on a tropical island somewhere and that he would still be playing cop.. next day i went to my internist in BH and got a letter that i sent to the court. cased dismissed. but i left after i was well enough to receive my travel shots.

America is a failed state and is sad portrait of its former self. i got sick of it 20 years ago and saw the writing on the wall and got the hell out. most Americans are adverse to travel and so will go down with the ship. i am happily watching it from abroad self destruct. the American people deserve what they now have. thanks to Trump and Regan all the progress that was made in the last 60 years is gone. this is just a happier place to be for me.

worst experience ever last night with them. tried to pay with Thai debit card, American Visa card, cash on delivery. none worked.

you mean like the middle ages

they need to show proof of vaccination. do you want to sit in plane for 12hrs. with people who may be unvaccinated regardless is they test negative. airlines need to get on board with a digital passport. you can carry the virus and still test negative.
