  1. It was lovely chatting the other day- please let me know how you get on
  2. Congratulations on your choice of a partner- sadly I suspect you are in the minority among falang living here in Thailand
  3. My view entirely- how many more violent issues with the dog before the owner realises that it is not a friendly pet?
  4. Such a sad story- and a tragedy for him and of course for his wife and family- who will live with his loss for a long time
  5. I agree entirely with all said here- a tragic end for the man and a long term sentence of suffering for his family and friends RIP
  6. I have friends in London who will deliberately not wear anything valuable- even when going to "nice" areas - for fear of provoking an assault by ever present scum
  7. My thought as well- I am pleasantly surprised there was not more damage or a more serious consequence
  8. I think part of the problem is that Trump is attracted to those type of authoritarian dictators- hence his close friendship with Putin
  9. Very cynical- and sadly very true as well. We all know the risks as we are dealing in many cases with very skilled operators who have been there and got the T shirt
  10. I am sure she is very glad that yo s hared that with this forum!
  11. I will be in London so I will miss all the fun!?
  12. I agree and in fairness to the RTP they will never have the resources to track and find all the illegal businesses that we all know are operating here
  13. A really strange scenario- he could have been fleeing from so many dangers of which we are all well aware on this site - it will ne interesting to see if any further information is disclosed in due course
  14. It will be interesting to hear from you as to how you get on- fingers crossed for you
  15. Best if I simply say it was an inner city station. More subtle than a station I had dealings with in Cardiff MANY years ago where suspects regularly fell down the stairs after being arrested for violence on a Saturday evening Nowadays CCTV and body cameras make that sort of thing a lot less likely
  16. I think they are all facing a long time in the Bangkok Hilton as they appear to be involved on a large scale in the supply of drugs generally
  17. No excuse for the crime and of course if you have a nice watch or a nice car and so on you should be free to enjoy teh use of the same But in the real world I always wonder at the sense of wearing a very expensive watch or driving a very expensive car in a country where there is a lot of poverty. The danger of showing to the world how rich you are to me is obvious and to be avoided - a low profile makes a lot of sense when there are enormous gulfs between the haves and the have nots?
  18. My thoughts as well- what an absolute nightmare for everyone involved I hope the patient recovers soon
  19. When he is deported to Russia it will not look good on his CV - I suspect a holiday in Ukraine paid for by Putin will be on his horizon soon
  20. I think we need a bit more information before we can form a reliable conclusion here - so many loose ends I do not think it is normal for a ladyboy to attack a customer and inflict a serious wound- so I assume perhaps something provoked the violence?
  21. Indeed- I think the moron is lucky to have not suffered a lot more - although he may have "fallen down the stairs" when he gets to the Police Station. There was a Police Station in London some years ago now that was infamous for its slippery stairs and no CCTV camera working there that explained many an accused appearing in Court the next morning heavily bruised
  22. A lot of young Brits arrive and for their holiday they are holiday millionaires as so much here is cheap compared to the UK So they think they are something special- when clearly they are not- and act as we all see them acting so often after a few beers/spliffs/pills/lines etc They are a total embarrassment and really need to be banned from returning after they have spent a few days in the Bangkok Hilton
  23. Yes- but it is easy to say that about me too- but you would be paranoid like me if every one was after you too!
  24. A tragic case and terribly sad for the deceased wife and her children
  25. I agree- but before we all condemn this as typical of Thailand I would mention such incompetence is not just limited to happening in Thailand Some years ago I had a similar case- my client was in a car accident and was taken to a police station as he was suspected of drunk driving He was questioned and accused of not being co-operative so he was put in a cell and left alone - and sadly he died there as a result of severe internal injuries His inability to answer police questions was assumed to be due to alcohol hence being left in a cell A tragic case herein Thailand- and to me the sight of the lady being carried like a bag of rice is appalling - and given she had serious internal injuries I would imagine the pain she suffered as a result of the manhandling must have been terrible RIP
