Hi guys, so I am buying a second Ninja 250r and I need advice on how to check that it hasn't been laid down and that the engine is in good condition or any other things I should look for. Any advice?
-
Just to let everyone know, I was at Kawasaki on Sukhumvit in Pattaya and they have all models and colors of Ninja250,650 and the ER6.

will do! thanks Bard!

Looking for a secondhand ninjaette, please pm with details of said ninjette for sale
I will be selling my 2009 green 250R with about 3500 km on the clock when I move up to the new Ninja 650R, but not for a few weeks or even months. What are 250Rs going for at the moment? Engrin, how much are you expecting to shell out?
Edit:
Never mind, looks like around 100000-130000 at http://classifieds.thaivisa.com/?act=searc...amp;x=0&y=0
Depending on the addons/mods the price range above is what I can pay! Send me a PM when you're ready!

I saw a black ER6 at Tesco in Chonburi about a week ago. My wife spotted it in the car park, she said "look at the bike, swai". We walked right up and checked it out. Looks really nice, too bad I can't afford it.

Any chance of posting 'simple' directions from Pattaya for those not knowing how to get to Bang Sean.
don't bother dude, BanSaen is the worst beach in Thailand (that I've seen). those of us who are unfortunate enough to live around there have few options for entertainment. stick to pattaya or better yet, head south for some nice beaches and clean water!!!
Bang Saen is far cleaner than Patters and for the familly its great ,but if your a single male wanting to sit in a girly bar ,then its not for you.
by the way it was packed this weekend as it nearly always is.
as for directions ,get on the Sukhumvit head towards Chonburi and turn after about 30 kms where the big signs say Bang Saen
I wouldn't use the word clean to describe Ban Saen. Swimming in the water leads to the itches, its so dirty!

I bought a Phantom and sold it 6 months later. Underpowered, but very comfortable and maneuverable.
I should ad that I bought a Super 4 and its A LOT better!
-
Do you mean the roundabout near the 7-11 and German Bar (walk in 1)?
Thanks

I had a little spill on my super 4. I locked the front tires going over sand (on the road of course) and went down. I've taken my bike to the shop and they've replaced the handle bar and one of the engine protector pegs.
When I went down the headlight pushed up into the speedometer, cracking the case and damaging the internal chips and electrics. The tachometer still works.
The shop said that they must replace the entire unit. Speedometer, tachometer, casing all that even though the tachometer is still working.
The bike has been in the shop for 2 weeks. They told me at first that they would locate a new (or used) unit and replace the whole unit. They haven't been able to locate the parts.
So, I guess what I need to know is where in Pattaya can I find this unit? Also, would it be possible to located just the casing and the speedometer and not replace the entire unit including the tachometer which still works?
Happy to say that although I kissed the pavement, my visor took most of the scratches and after a few days my body was feeling great.

We are looking for a Pug mini. Not sure where to look or how much they cost?
-
^ Yes, I worked for them last year
-
I live near Ban Saen.
Will have a look at Honda Wave mirrors.
Unfortunately the bike is red plate / invoice / import papers. I'm using the bike daily and plan to do some touring as well, am I asking for trouble?

Hi guys, well I've just bought a CB400 Super 4 Vtech 1...
I have a problem though. The way the handle bars and mirrors are set up, I cant see past my shoulders very well. Obviously, I want to ride as safely as possible!
The guy I bought the bike from said he had been looking for longer mirrors for a while and couldn't find any. He didn't spare expense on other mods for the bike so I don't believe he is lying.
I went to the local bike shop and they said when they find some longer mirrors they will call my wife, I'm not holding my breath.
So, what should I do? Where can I source longer mirrors? ---Is that the best option?
Or? Should I try to find longer mirror stands? (if thats what they are called).
Off toipic, but also should mention that my bike is white with red stripes. Wikipedia says that the Anniversary Edition with only 50 units manufatured is the same!
Bike sounds really nice and rides really well. I'm a happy camper.

I had an accident on a busy street and a few people ran out with medicine (iodine) to help with the cuts/wounds me and my wife had. The man who caused the accident offered to take us to the hospital too.
