  1. This is a 2 part question..

Firstly, I have a Multiple Non O that I have extended a few times by going to Poi Pet.

There was some talk about extending Non O's inside the country is married. I'd like to know if that is possible if the visa has already been extended a few times out of the country.

I'd also like to know if there is an Immigration Office in Siracha that can do that for me. And if so, where? (I'm coming from Chonburi)

    THANSK SO MUCH :o

  2. Had exact same email sent to me when i was trying to sell something online maybe 6 months ago. sent the dude a paypal request for funds and that was the end of it, never heard back. In his email he'd use "the item" as what was being sold not what the item actually was. He probably sends 100's of emails a day saying he wants to buy "the item" for sale

  3. This is my neighbour's house upcountry. It is on his wife's land, built together with another house on the same lot.

Western bathroom, western kitchen, tile floors, 2 bedrooms, aircon ready, about 100sqm....total cost 134,000Baht. Hundred thirty four thousand baht. Four thousand dollars.

Labour was mostly free (family). Had he paid all the workers, the house would have been 300K baht.

Had he involved any lawyers for a 4,000US$ house? I spent more than that during my 2 weeks holidays Xmas/New Year.

Would love to see some interior shots!!

  4. My TW has been recommended to Jola (sp?) Hospital in Bangkok. She wants to have her thyroid checked.

Has anyone heard about this hospital? She was reommended by a Thai man who says they did wonders for his thyroid after 4 years of inaffective treatment in Chonburi.

We live in Chonburi and will be taking public transport to Bangkok. The bus lets off in BangNa or Ekamai Station. Is there a SkyTrain stop near the hospital or what is the best way to get there by public transport?

If anyone knows anything about Thyroid problems or treatment advice/experience in Thailand I'd love to hear about it. I will be googling the next few days, our trip to the hospital will be on Friday. :o

  5. From what I've observed in Chonburi, most teachers are working 6 - 7 days a week. Salaries are so low. Teaching is a tiring job that requires a lot of energy and dealing with the Thai management at the schools is challenging too. For the time I've been in Thailand I've seen 1 school out of MANY where the foreign staff were content a praised the school. Unfortunately it wasn't in Chonburi, but in Bangna. This is Thailand, seems that education is not the highest priority here. What's the salary like at Best? I'm curios.

  6. According to a News Show this morning that my TW watched.

A farang couple both Canadian were arguing.

Farang girlfriend didnt want to stay with Canadian boyfriend, she wanted to stay with Thai Man.

Police arrive. Canadian attacks police (without a gun)

Police shoot Canadian man in the gut and he dies.

News show is hosted by 2 men in yellow shirts. One my TW says is a "lawyer".

I sai, "Did the Canadian have a gun?" She said "No." The lawyer dude on the new show said that police are not allowed to shoot people in the gut if they are unarmed.

Hoping this story is not true. Haven't seen any news here on the forum.
