There is a change of address form TM28 which you need to complete and submit to the new immigration office and some immigration offices require copies of various documents accompanying the form. This form is available on line. it is seperate from your 90 day reporting which has a seperate form and u do the 90 day reporting at the appropriate date to the new office.
In the last few years i have moved twice within Thailand and it has been necessary for me to go to my new local immigration office and submit form TM28 etc.
When the time comes for your annual extension of permission to stay (retirement) you simply go along to the new immigration office and apply in the normal way there.

Yes
This is giving out wrong information. The answer is "no"
See my post here:
Need to submit form TM 28.
(that said most immigration offices seem to be unaware of the requirement)
-
And if so which channel?
thank you!

Is this meant to be for real or funny or what? Because in my view it is not the slightest bit of either and added to which the dreadful music just adds to the confusion
OP: have you got nothing better to do?!
-
If I were to eat anymore at one of these places I would not bring my tray to the garbage stand. By doing so I would be "working" and without the necessary work permit I do not want to break the law.

Yes at last it came onto channel 7 !
I am a big Manny admirer, pound for pound the best boxer in the world; but in my opinion he would have been lucky to get a draw in this fight, but no way in my view did he win it(and i reckon he knew it too!).
Shows again why its dangerous to leave the decision to the judges.

Strictly speaking when you move you should within a certain time(48 hours from arrival) complete and submit form TM28 to the new immigration office namely at CM. This is a seperate form from your 90 day reporting form. And yes the 90 day reporting should be done at CM at the due date. Some months back I changed my address and at my new immigration office I submitted the completed form TM28 ; they accepted my form and signed it with the receipt of notification part to me for my records; though they gave me the impression that they hardly knew the procedure but its in Thai law to submit such a form.It does seem many people do not bother to use TM28 but the law is the law.
No need for you to go to BKK to change your address.
On form 28 is says to inform your new local police station of the change of address though when I attempted that the police station claimed it was unnecessary. I nevertheless made my own record of my attempt to do that.

"This sinking mega-city’s eight million people are paying the price of ignoring warnings"
In otherwords blame 8 million people for these floods; we should have forseen the dangers. I see. Same like blame the whole world when aliens invade this planet as we ignored all the signs especially from those from making sci fi B pics.
Hmm................

"The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand has released lower water from the Bhumibhol Dam, from 60 million cubic metres a day to 40 million.
The volume released from Sirikit Dam was also cut by half to 10 million cubic metres a day, according to Egat Governor Sutas Patamasiriwat.
It should take 2 weeks for the released water to reach Bangkok, he said, insisting that the release volume accounts for only 18 per cent of water that floods Nakhon Sawan."
-This quote is from a story in a locked forum so I am posting my question here. What is the significance of releasing less water per day?
the 2 week delay to reach BKK will lead to what consequence if any?
What is being talked about re the 18% of water that floods Nakhon Sawan?
-people who write or report these stories should realize we are not all experts on water dynamics.
-
"All Singaporeans in Bangkok were ordered to evacuate to higher ground or areas that will be safe from the ravaging floods"
so folks the 64 million baht question is:
what areas will be safe from the ravaging floods?????????
-
Condolences to all affected by the flooding. Be strong and take care.

I have not read or ploughed through all the replies so excuse me; however surely what is needed is an investigative juornalist or similar with no agenda to investigate the allegations raised in the OP report, including interviewing the 'victim' and the police and other authorities as well as the hospital and also tellng us also about the background of the person involved if there is anything relevant that should be known and then giving us a factual account of everything that happened, before, during and after etc

Often when i am composing an email in my hotmail account for some unknown reason i get the following appearing once or more than once at the top of my composed email and which I delete before sending:
"hmmessagePbody.hmmessage"
Can anyone tell me why this and how to prevent it?
Another odd thing that has happened is:
On one occasion I had sent an email and the recipient told me that when he got the email in the subject heading the phrase ****SPAM**** has mysteriously appeared; can anyone tell me why that is?
Many thanks!

You need to call the Bangkok Bank call center at 1333. You will then need to get through to the right section by various numbers 2, 6, 1 and 4. But once you get through to speak to someone in person they will sort it for you.
Believe me; I had the same type of problem as you !

I recently asked an officer at the Bangkok immigration if a 15 month fixed term account with the Bangkok Bank was ok for "retirement" renewal and I was told yes.

Thank you TRUE for showing this fight even though it was mostly boring and one sided. From start to finish the monster ukranian dominated with his reach and size advantage. What annoyed me (apart from Haye keeping everyone waiting at the start of the fight = a PR disaster) was the English commentator.
Too much too say for himself, and what he did say was mostly wrong as it was clear who was dominating the match from the start in all the rounds and it was only in the later rounds did the commentator start to get the assessment right which was obvious to most of us watching!
Where do the TV stations get these idiots from?!

Hi Folks:
I appreciate all the helpful replies and please accept this post as an individual thank you. I visited about 5/6 places including Index and Office Depot as recommended here. Eventually I decided upon items I inspected in Office Depot and as I have quite a bit of computer gear I bought 2 tables from them as well as a very nice swivel chair Total cost 6,000 baht +. After my purchase which was this last monday evening they delivered the tables and chair today Tuesday morning.Efficient service and good quality furniture.
So:
Thanks again!

Can anyone suggest a store in Pattaya which has a decent selection of computer tables, and a chair to go with it?
Any recommendations are appreciated.
Thank you.

No doubt TRUE will give us all types of excuses for the satellite being down. Probably some engineer still under the influence from songkran fell asleep and pushed the wrong buttons. TiT.

I have windows 7 and avast! anti virul. For the last several hours when I try to log onto various sites I keep getting a red warning pop up saying avast has blocked a harmful site etc . On my hotmail site it prevents me getting into my mail. The pop up arises on other sites but I am at least able to access them.
I have run all necessary scans but I do not have any virus the say.
As i want to get into my hotmail account:
Any suggestions?
Many thanks.
