Wow give this dude a break, he come oin and is being honest and peopel are into him.
Mate welcome to Thailand. There are plenty of teaching jobs here (plenty of great teachers and plenty of teachers that are here to drink, shoot up and play up)
Don't take what some of these guys say to heart, seems like many just sit on here looking to create tension.
Have fun in Thailand

I would not go back to Thaiwalen, i was studying there in Bangkok............... I wont say too much for fear of getting deleted.
Private lessons are often cheap and a great way to learn
-
Maybe, whats the norm at these parties, you stand round and chat, drink or playy games

Thsnks agian for all the tips guys

I surrently live just on the outskirts of the slums. It was a very bad (poor and crime) area years before. When I tell taxis where I live they sometimes laugh and tell me stories. It is a very poor area that goes all the way to the river (read Bangkok Saughterhose) now is is not as bad and I have never had any trouble there but I would not walk throught he heart of it at midnight if I was a little westerner girl
The locals are friendly and there are soem relaly poor shacks that the owners have reallly tried to pretty up

The U.N Irish would be worth a punt specifically for the rugby as Sandy the proprietor is a big fan and they have 3 TVs on different feeds. Food is pretty good too and they even do a reasonably decent pint of Guiness. Otherwise another vote for the Number 1 Bar from me.
Cheers,
Pikey.
Sorry guys it Rugby League I am after (the real game ha ha, only joking dont want to start that old dog again)

Should be a great fight. Manny is almost 30 and Oscar close to 36. There will be a size difference 4 inches in height to the golden boy plus a few lbs. Oscar started his career atsuper featherweight and moved up through the years. Manny has been KO only twice (both in the 3rd round) so if Oscar can get him early I think he may go to sleep, past 5rds I will say Manny by decision
WHO REALLY CARES, GREAT FIGHT TO WATCH

It's Manny's contant barrage of punches will take down Oscar.
Hopkins was back to his best on Sunday, he gave it to the doubters too.....

Thanks for the tips guys, am looking forward to a weekend off.
Here is a challenge....anyone know if these places will be showing the rugby league world cup???
You may be out of luck on this one. Australia Network or DSTV don't seem to be carrying it so the bars will probably not be able to get a satellite feed.
Yeah I thought that may be the case, In b\Bangkok we go to a bar that has PNG TV plus they download a few games and replay them.

What is the best bar in C.M for a relaxing beer, sports, atmosphere (not a night club) at a decent price.
Heading up north for a few days and want to relax, chill and have a few beers
-
I doubt Oscar will handle the contant presure from Pac Man,
Oscar doesn't fight often and with all his businesses I guess he would not train as hard either.
Pac Man to win (even thou I love the Golden Boy)

when I was boxing and the leanest I have ever been my girfriend said it was too much, she prefers me to look fit and healthy but not ripped to shreds.........but now she says my belly is too big so maybe she will never be happy ha ha

Incentive packages, bonus that encourages them to work. E.G drop the pay slightly but let them know that achieving KPI's will result in much higher pay. I find staff are motivated by money but if they know they dont need to work harder to get it they wont

JWP is looking a little slow and doesn't seem himself. Hopefully he wil have a little break and come back hard as (review first few post I picked these two :-)
Yod had had easy fights all the way through so will be fresh and free of injuries
JWP will have to work hard to beat him but as always Parr is dangerous and has the ability to send anyone to sleep

I am heading back to Aust for 1 week in Oct for a Wedding and my girlfriend (Thai who did her schooling in Aust) wants to come to my brother's wedding.
Is it really that much trouble to get a tourist visa for a few days (she is senior in company and can only have 4 days off)
Do I need to show bank statements? mine or hers?
Any visa advice would be great
Thanks

Great work'
Don't look at like"I will FORCE myself to walk again tom" Train your mind to love it, feel guilty whne you don't train or take a short cut.
80% of training and living healthy is a mental game, when you are tired think of something hard (soldiers in the trenches, playing rugby, boxing or how good it is not to be a work)
It's great that you are doing this and trust me when you drop 2kg you will feel so happy, 5 kg off and you will also find how much easier everything is
You will also be strengthening your muscles walking plus increasing bone density
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK,STAY POSITIVE AND GET A FEW PEOPLE TOGETHER TO TRAIN WITH,
THEY CAN MIX UP THE SESSION

Learning Thai In Chaingmai?
in Chiang Mai

Walen. When I was there most of the students were studying only because of the Visa. Classes were a huge mix of people that could already read and write Thai to complet beginners in the class. Half the class did not want to be there and only came half the time. The teacher, although a very lovely lady, could not explain much as english was limited. The workbook they give you was mistake rideen to say the least.
But they did serve a good purpose for people wanting a no hassle visa.
