You can have socialism with or without authoritarianism. North Korea is a socialists/communist authoritarian country . While the socialist Scandinavian countries like Sweden are not authoritarian. Most authoritarian governments are military dictatorships. That are similar to fascism . I would say socialism w/o authoritarian is more likely than fascism w/o authoritarian
