Thai schools have some sort of discipline, where in the West, teachers FEAR doing anything. It has nothing to do with the quality of teaching, that is their business, not from someone from the West. In England at my primary school, near 70 years back we had to wear a uniform, including a cap, taught how to look smart. In secondary school, a uniform and cap. If the Western folk want school kids to look like slobs, that is their problem, Thailand has got something right, having pride in one's self, and appearance whilst at school...

Thailand should do what it wants to promote growing up the right way, not how most of the west does it, where discipline is in a real state........ I personally think Thailand has got it right, and is not farangland.....🤗

Weeeeell, if you live in LOS but don't, it may be a problem if you have to go to a Gov. office in the town you don't really live in to go through the form filling/photo procedure.........😲 If you actually live in LOS it could be a case of, don't need one, or, like the life certificate, get your information/photo verified/notarised by someone in a position of trust..🤗

Samsung double front fridge freezer, ice maker, now 17+ years old, had new compressor fitted about 2 years back..🤗 Though I do take the gubbins cover at the back off to clean out all the dust etc from the condenser and stuff to help the heat dissipation. It is not pushed up against the wall, so fan can do its thing..
