  4. That is rubbish, the EU knows how much money the UK was pumping into the EU to bolster it...... Anyhooo, in Thailand it is 20,000bht, I believe, 450 quid....????
  5. The carpet thing is quite easy for a DIY guy, remove the seats, pull out the carpet and use the bits as templates to cut out from a length of auto carpet. You can buy seat covers, even leather seat covers, for particular rides. Where I am there are shops that recover anything, just keep your eyes open for them...????
  6. I think you are trying too hard chap........., but my ham sandwich has arrived.....????

  8. Look up UK pensions then find living abroad, or even phone them. They will send you a form to fill in at your Thai address, just fill it in and send it back....????
  9. I don't know anyone that voted for a ham sandwich, as you say you are a grown up, so, could you explain further, as it seems you voted for something related to a ham sandwich.... ????
  10. An interesting read, they quote miles so just multiply by 1.6 for Km before you send off your oil to be tested.....???? https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/oil-change-truths/#:~:text=Davis says that educated drivers, more frequent changes or not.
  11. Really, you've never owned a 4x4 then......................

  15. Yes, an auto, as I use B-Quik for basic stuff, I had them change the 4x4 axle oil, they just showed me Mobil gear oil of the right type for the job. The minor prob with the 4x4 disengaging was a bit of a pain, at times I had to stop the truck, put it in reverse, move a metre, then it would disengage, as an auto is always using force when in drive I thought that might be the prob, anyhoooo, the prob was solved with I assume a different brand of oil..
  16. ????........Preparing an area for our transport, as a now free nation, was good planning, I would've thought.. ???? I mean, on the other side of the channel they have similar, for all those illegal immigrants to camp in, before the dinghy ride...????
  17. I think the 16 km 4x4 axle is a bit OTT, after all, they say don't use 4x4 on dry black top, which in this country is a bit difficult. My 4x4 I just knocked it into 4x4 every month or so on a straight bit road, never had any issues except with disengaging at times, changed the oil to Mobil, problem solved.
  18. I changed syn oil & filter at 15kkm in my 3.0 Vigo, never burned oil, sold at 11.5 years old, it is now 15 years old and still no probs.....???? The Vigo has a timing belt, your 2.8 has a chain, good to keep oil in a good shape. If mine, it would be every 15kkm...
  19. I thought it was a bit cheap, there is no air filter. The bigger amounts are.... Oil ............................1,445 Oil filter....................200 A/C filter.................430 Tub of grease.......139 Air filter......................? Lazada cheapy is about 500bht, so a Toyota, I would've thought double that....
  20. Well yes, perhaps it's a ploy to stop the riff-raff .....????
  21. That's water, never had a prob paying electric late, water, yes...???? Forgot, I once had a reminder from electric...
