Are you experiencing “Pandemic Fatigue” here in Thailand?
transam replied to webfact's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
There have always been hiccups in ordinary folks lives, for instance, my grandparents, 1914/18, my parents, 1939/45, no ifs or buts, get on with it...???? -

When I bought a new car the dealer called us to collect the blue book and white plates, they took the red plates off and fitted the white ones and finished all the paperwork, etc. -
Though the MG/Morris story is a bit complicated, MG was the racing name used by Morris Garages performance stuff. Since 1924 Morris made ordinary road cars, plus performance road cars, for many years before being bought by the British Motor Corporation in 1952. BMC used the MG name for their "performance" offerings, tweaked up basic rides, including Morris's...But, MG does have real performance history, that's why BMC used it for that performance history. https://www.cardekho.com/features-stories/mg-ex181-the-car-that-made-land-speed-record-history-in-1957-25531.htm#:~:text=Coming back to the topic,245.64mph (395.31 kmph).

Not sure if it has changed, but you can use red plates for 30 days, after that it is an offence. You can go to LTO for a covering letter if your plates have not turned up. I assume no plates is an offence in its self, but like most things in LOS, the BiB don't do much.. -
Go in any shop in the west and what do you see, Plastic. Plastic wrappers advertising the probably small item inside. Half a century ago, buy a shirt, it's in a box, all nicely wrapped again in tissue or plastic. Go in a farang supermarket now, I reckon 99% of it is in plastic, from a sealed bag to cellophane wrap.. The hygiene thingy. So no, LOS is no worse than farangland, in fact didn't LOS ban plastic carrier bags...????
