    Twist and go do make a row if one opens full throttle to get the engine and trans to catch up, now put about 20 of these together, then you get an annoying racket for many on foot...... Put the revving and them shouting, "Vive la France" together, then you have terrible din....

    I didn't have a plan to come to LOS, it was a spur of the moment thing because of "circumstances". I have now been here for many years, in my eighth decade with a family. If I were younger I probably would not be in LOS, definitely would not have planned to come here. We all have twists and turns in life where stuff changes, gambles are made, a bit of an adventure, perhaps...

    No, the E-visa application info has nothing on payment, I must go through the application thing till the end to pay, I don't want to apply just yet, just wanted to see if this card will work via one of you that has used it outside of LOS, in Laos.......☺️

    Yeh right, not many with no pre-existing probs is there, and we all came here in our 20's.....

    Weeeeeeeeeeell Rim, you and I know repairing it is really a no-no if the cash is there for a new ride. With an old car, something else may/will pop up to drain the wallet. So, what is the car worth in working order is the first question, what would the workshop offer for it as it is, then do the maths. But alas, I have missed out the wifey element in the equation, so think I should have stayed quiet.............................

    Still a problem for the now old regarding costs.....

    I want to pay for a Laos E-Visa online, but the only card I have is a Bangkok Bank Be 1st with UnionPay. Had to go to the bank today, so I asked if I could use it, but sadly today no English speaker but the drift I got was "No". I booked a hotel in Laos with it as a deposit with no probs, so a bit confused. Can someone advise, please....
