  1. If she was, it wouldn't be over the price of Gov. car insurance.........
  2. I agree, very little to go wrong, just oil and a grease gun....
  3. In your case you will have 2 policies, the Gov one, which is COMPULSORY, and your private cover...... I think the reason for the gov one is that a huge number of the populace would not have any insurance, so third parties are not covered for any injuries caused by another. So folk must pay it to get the road tax sticker, which is a step in the right direction for the BiB looking at a windscreen. My own opinion is that if you have private insurance, which is way better than the gov one, you should not need to have the gov one...
  4. I was in a Morris 1000 van when the right front suspension collapsed going round a corner........ ???? But to be fair, the bloke had never serviced the thing, no grease in the spindle, just water, it rusted away......????
  5. It is separate, you can buy the gov insurance anywhere, but you cannot tax the car without it, you pay for the tax when you provide the insurance and test papers which were paid for separately.....????
  6. Forum influencer, I don't think so.......???? And he is not the OP.......????
  7. I think you are wrong. Mrs. T just came back from doing the job with the gov insurance I printed off this morning..The Gov insurance was paid using her phone to our insurance co. Car test... 200bht Gov insurance....645bht Road tax..... 448bht So all is good........????
  8. We are all different in our approach to near anything, others looking down their nose at others on this type of topic is a bit, eeeeeeeeeeer, strange..???? Besides, this is a baiting thread, one of many by the OP to dribble over......
  9. Well done.................
  10. I have been to the USA five times, I have driven the width of the USA. I have driven down as far as Key West.... Next.....................
  11. All my insurers provided Gov insurance....????
  12. Private insurance usually ask if you would like them to sort Gov insurance, I think there is no fee for that, it saves a lot of messing about. This morning I was sent by email the compulsory insurance from our private insurance to print off....????
  13. Why, perhaps they are, I don't think the USA has one variety of hot dog, same goes for burgers, perhaps you have only ever been to McDonald's..........................................????
  14. They are not interested in private insurance, all they want is the Gov. compulsory insurance. You can pay that at DLT if you haven't got it.
  15. "It's the rules, should learn to follow"... In Thailand, you're 'avin a laugh......????
  16. No increase for us non-criminals..............????
  17. So the BiB have not sorted the problem out, or want too................
  18. Yet an army bloke can organise a coup, kill civilians doing it to control the country and get away with it, but you worry about a few shares.......???? Gawd 'elp us...........????
  19. UK pension is sent in pounds to Citibank in BKK, they do the conversion and send the baht to your account. Something for you to look at and take note of, as the UK gov states they give us a preferential rate.....???? My friends and I are very happy we have nothing to do with UK banks, just use an ATM card in LOS...???? But if you are not interested, then don't take note.....????..................????
  20. I will still let you know the exact rate I get from the state pension, it may give you a pointer...????
  21. At last McTrump is facing the consequences of his actions.....
