2022 KLR650 magically appeared on the Thai Kawasaki website. Now with fuel-injection.
268500฿ for the standard model and 299000฿ for the Adventure version.
With ABS.
Papa Al has mentioned owning a KLR650 that he keeps in Colorado for his stateside visits.
I think he will find this one hard to resist.

I went to Bueng Kan immigration a few days ago and they told me that changing from visa-exempt to a non-O with retirement extension would be no problem. But I do have the 800K in my Bangkok Bank account.
The people around here that I have spoken to that are using agents are using agents based in Udon Thani or Pattaya.

Hi, I did PM you a Guideline document on how to stay long-term in Thailand when over +50 years of age.
Hello Peter. Please PM the long-stay information, based on retirement, to me also.
Thanks!

I use my Bangkok Bank online to top up my AIS account.

OK, but are you attempting to to switch from a VOA to a one year extension or just a 90 day?
Visa-exempt entry to non-O with retirement extension based on money in bank method.

How did your visa/extension survive being gone all of 2020?
I returned visa-exempt with the intention of obtaining a new non-O with 1 year retirement extension.

I was gone for the entire year of 2020, due to being unable to return. Now I am back and I finally got my book updated at the Bangkok Bank counter. They left out every single transaction that I did in 2020. And there were plenty of transfers, both in and out. None of them shown.
Not asking for sympathy or advice. Just showing that there are some things that happen that don't always follow along with the simple cut and dried explanations and advice given by some on this forum. After all, TIT.

The chemist I went to in Sawang Daen Din is big and that's what the staff told me, will get the wife to also go with me on Monday as I found that to be pretty crazy, however I would think most Thai's who need such meds get them from the government hospital.
That large pharmacy in Sawang Daen Din next to the Yamaha shop is the only one that I could find that is willing to work with me and order anything I want. All the other pharmacies in my area that I went into would only tell me that they did not have it and would not order it. I live 90km from Sawang.

Be advised that there is a charge of $2350 for officially renouncing your US citizenship.

Thanks for the update. Post some pictures along the way.
How comfortable is the highway riding position compared to your CBR150?

It appears that the size of the built-in Aerox knee bangers has been reduced.
And that's a good thing.

In my country, those systems are called central air conditioning.

Having read papa's postings over the years, and having met him once, I would have to say that papa is certainly not lacking in inspiration.

I am on my 11th day in ASQ and have heard nothing about getting out early.

Is there a thread that we can use for reviewing our ASQ hotels?
There are some things about my hotel that I would like to post that people should know about before making a reservation here.

I arrived the 30th of January and have not been asked about it.

In your case, I would schedule the Dr Donna appointment at the latest possible time to be able to get it printed out before going to the airport.
I paid $300 for a PCR test that guaranteed me results the same day. They emailed the test results to me within an hour after the test. I checked into my ASQ 71 hours after that.

I entered Thailand about a week ago and so far I have not downloaded it nor have I been asked about it.

I used a Dr Donna FTF letter last week to get on the airplane. It works fine and is is totally stress free. It was inspected at every point along the way and caused no raised eyebrows at all.
I am halfway through quarantine in BKK now.

I have over 50 years of riding experience on over 40 different bikes, up to and including Harleys, BMWs.
Also 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 cylinder Kawasakis. But nowadays I love my scooters (NMax and XMax)
Thank you very much.
(This is directed at those who think scooters are for inexperienced riders.)

In my case, the T8 form was not requested or needed until landing at BKK.

list of insurers against COVID19
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Posted
A friend is telling me that he cannot get the covid insurance because he is too old. I believe that he is 76 years old.
Are there any workable options for him?
He intends to enter visa-exempt from the US and convert to a non-O with long stay extension based on being married to a Thai.
