    ...but it's to Phuket.

Yes, the OP made a mistake. That's why I posted a picture.

Yep, mistake, but still a good deal.

I did have a look but strangely nothing available.

I think you're too negative and did not research enough. Please close your forum account if you don't know how to use the Internet correctly, I can't believe Jiu-Jitsu got as far as the booking page just to prove a point you could have done yourself with A......FEW.....SIMPLE.....CLICKS.... (I spoke slowly for you, so you could get it).

  2. FWIW I bought a cheap (2500baht tops) one online from dealextreme.com - it's the same size as a parrot AR drone and can carry a small camera (40 quid from amazon) - Reason I went so cheap was that in the past I used to fly helicopters - which proved to be an extremely expensive hobby - ending in several thousand dollars of spares, late nights and carbon everywhere :) I decided to make the cost of my new craters a little lower.

HOWEVER - drones are extremely stable and easy to fly - not even crashed mine yet... great hobby.

  3. i tried logging in from a fast internet cafe and still same problem ....

port 5001 is activated in UK end I set it up months ago ,,,,my cousin is able to login to my slingbox from china again okay today , but all i get in pattaya is ''not connected signal or no internet'' even though i am logged in to slingplayer UK ..

I think its time to give up on this useless machine ,,i hve spent enough time on it . its only making me angry now ,,i can log into my remote 4 Tb data server on same UK network . has to be a Slingbox issue ...

If you want to confirm that (and dismiss a local issue) I don't mind giving you guest access to my Slingbox to see if that works? PM me if it's do-able.

  4. OP.

I work for an AV company (product mentioned elsewhere in this thread), and your suggestion AV firms create the viri first is really quite bonkers. I could take offence to your comments, but in this case i'll pass as you're quite literally under informed.

The popup you got was most likely an innocent site, but a ad somewhere was injected with the popup, it's called ransomware.

I could give you NDA covered information were these viri and malware originate from, but then i'd be putting my job at risk. Lets just say there's a big continent involved.

What I will say (and heck, why do it) is that we not only use our own signatures for event detection, but also two, maybe three big name AV suppliers signatures too. And we share ours back on a 15 minute cycle. This is at an infrastructure level, so there's no way malware of a virus can pass through after it's second sighting.

Now, toddle off and get some real time detection on your machinery - even free scanners like AVG etc use most signature databases to collate their dictionaries.....

    Hahahahahaha...

Well I believe you, at least you almost spelled the plural of virus properly

sent from my slimkat 1+ using tapatalk

I'm happy for a mod to come in and verify the reverse lookup of where i post sometimes......even if my spelling is a little in doubt.

  6. Anthony5 - no, i've used sipgate, gradwell and voipfone. The later i used from Thailand for one of my research projects - I did experience some latency/jitter, but i think this was happening when i was passing the calls to a mobile device (not voip/sip).

Dharmabm - it's enough to test - whats the issue ? (or you can sign up and just dial 0800/freephone numbers)..

  7. What's your home country - may be useful when recommending a decent SIP provider.

If you're thinking of using one overseas, be warned that jitter and latency will be a problem -ex SIP engineer here.

If you want to do it on the cheap, there are many providers who will give you a free DID number for incoming calls.

  8. Well, Got two answers here. I've used some flower deliver service a few times with no issues (apart from the delivery guy calling the wife and spoiling the surprise in advance for directions), and I can understand some scams out there "where is my flowers tilac?" We've not had issues with quality - quite excellent flowers in the past that lasted quite a time - just can't remember who i used.

And Thanks CLB for the suggestion - but i don't quite think i'll use "GO GO Florist"...... just can't quite put my finger on why........ :)

My initial reactions though (anti trolling, my apologies) was that they'd use images of my missus for commercial purposes and i would not hear the end of it if she collected them without make up and in housework clothes......would have been a laugh mind.

  9. So, I'm thinking of getting the wife some flowers for her upcoming birthday - these stipulations from the vendor i got from google made me decide not to use them. Bit of an invasion of privacy given no choice in the matter....Should be optional IMHO..

    2. The recipient must allow and available for take his/her photo at the time of delivery.

    4. The delivery places must not restrict us to take photo.
