It's dead Jim.
Replace it before it becomes a fire hazard.

I have no advice, but you already sound like a good father to her, biological or not..

What a mess it'll be for large organisations

I think it's a case of you typing .com twice.
you can go to skahenslxirhrnwasndhfuemasend.com.com and be presented with the page. I don't think it's local malware.

Careful when searching domain names with Go Daddy. They've been known to register searches and then put placeholders up in the past, in an effort to bump up prices. I should be able to dig up a discussion thread about this..

You know whats an absolute horrible solution. You may be able to install OSX natively to your Windows Laptop - even dual boot it.
Check your hardware compatibility. http://www.tonymacx86.com

I ran on an i5 with 8GB - I think you may need to get at least 4GB, but you can still run the OS to test it's usage with what you have. It'll run fine under windows 7. You can use USB passthrough, so your mac drive could be visible to the guest, but i'd recommend restoration from a time machine backup, purely because I know it works
Edit: Here's a link to get you started;

This has the potential to seriously damage Lenovo's credibility.
Even if their 'pro' equipment didn't ship with malware, risk-averse corporate clients will be dumping the brand like hot potatoes unwilling to take the risk with a brand that has been demonstrated as a security risk.
Foolish beyond compare.
Whilst true, most corporates who are serious about security will have their own "hardened" operating systems to install, and the first thing they'll do is wipe factory installed software.

Have you considered running an OSX VM ?
In before the "oh no, it's against the EULA!" mob.
I run a VM on my windows desktop, which runs a mirror of my laptop which i update once a month - "just in case" I suffer the same fate as you....
As far as performance, it's quite snappy.

Take care out there....

I recently stumbled across a presentation of <<<<Link removed>>>> from the Defcon 20 Conference where he was talking about how he created a Javascript botnet from scratch and how he used it to find scammers and hackers.
Everything is done via a stock SQUID proxy with small config changes.
---->8----<<<< Link removed >>>>
Knowing how squid works intimately, I can validate this method
TL;DR - All javascript can be injected with a payload, usually malicious......

FWIW it's worth, i've been uhming and ahhring with the choice of a GTX 960 vs a GTX 970. the price difference is about £100 between the cards, but the performance....Woah!
I mostly play Arma 3, and compared to a GTX960, a 970 will push about 29/32 FPS more on the same spec - I'm also planning to get a 1440p monitor, so if your budget can stretch, 970 all the way.

There ought to be a shorter, lay person's version of this article.
But thanks for posting.
Malware is being injected into the firmware of Hard disk controller PCB's.
Think how the xbox 360 was compromised to allow playing pirated games.
It's that, but a lot more.

Bang on that spec.
Is there a price difference to jump to a i5 4670k - at least then you are given some overlocking freedom..

Depends upon your Operating System.
For Windows users pressing <shift><PrntScr> will take a snapshot to the clipboard that you can paste into your favourite graphics program and then save.
MSPaint that comes with Windows works well enough for most simple needs.
There are many all-in-one programs available that cut out the middle man and can save directly.
Is it shift-prntscr or alt-prntscr ? Not got a Windows box to test....

If your work in the UK requires any special security clearances, Grab a criminal background check from the Thai Police. It'll save a lot of faffing around.

Honeypots have been in existence for as long as I can remember.
Decoyports redirecting to a fake system. Labyrinth and security walls protecting fake data. Keep the kiddies occupied.
I wish Thai Tech could write about something relevant, or even interesting.
This. We see so much activity on our HP's.

If i see anyone online tonight, you'll have it.
Trust the third party random translation service
This reminds me of a story SVB told me on the pearl farms, about some Filipino girl who was about to welcome the Japanese owners - she begged the Japanese techs to teach her a phrase to say to impress her employers - Turns out she was taught something like "how about we go around the back for a bit of how's your father..."

Defrag your C partition, then shrink? Although you should be able to shrink 100GB with that setup.

Ok Maybe i came across too harsh - Superior Knowledge - I doubt. I personally never knew the correct meaning of "Third World" until within the last year, be it in a pub quiz, or an episode of QI. I posted because I use this forum to enrich peoples knowledge, as well as being enriched by others peoples knowledge. I figure I've already had a few readers go "Oh....That makes sense"......
But reading the post above yours...we're doomed.
