So nobody it seems who has any exculpatory information such as to the whereabouts of the 2 accused or other persons or knows first hand of any money transfers designed to prevent those in the know from talking etc. etc. is willing to come forward.
If that is the case, that sucks more than anything the Thai officialdom has maybe fabricated to date.
The issue, of course, being that no such evidence likely exists.

That is actually a Reuters dispatch which is posted here:The judge in the UK put many claims made by members of TVF to rest.
Nothing exculpatory.
The BP article offers the best understanding so far, of why the UK police were only observers.
http://uk.mobile.reuters.com/article/article/idUKKCN0QU1YA20150825
Ridiculous, the UK police team didn't investigate anything themselves. They were essentially on a paid junket being chaperoned by the RTP top brass, and a report that came out from the fco said that they didn't see any evidence that they could verify in terms of source and credibility.
They had to take the RTP brass at their word, but it is very unlikely that the brit cops were bowled over by the cutting edge investigative prowess of the RTP. The likely reason for not disclosing the contents of this latest report is that it's very reasonable to assume that the appraisal of the RTP is far from complimentary.
The judge said he found the report pretty unsettling, that would tend to point to shock and dismay at the methods and conclusions reached by the RTP. This is a senior judge, the nature of facts of deceased's injuries etc will very much be like water off a duck's back.
So what else do you think a man of his experience would have found so unsettling about the report? Very keen to see how you spin this one
Huh?
How do you get anything but unsettling from "unsettling"?

The defendants and the defense team have made statements. Knowing much more than the now discredited RTP minority report given to the parents.
The parents of the victims have made statements. The conspiracy theorists don't like it.The parents of the victims have seen the reports yet haven't come out in support of the defendants.
Once again someone has to be told that:-
The reports contain only what the RTP and the prosecution want them to contain!
The shills dont like it.
The job of the defense team is to get the defendants free.
The victims' parents want justice for their children.
The UK police reports weren't exculpatory. Nothing else can be said about them.

The first statement is a logical fallacy. If the B2 are found not guilty then this case would show the RTP to be corrupt to the core.Would anything be done about that going forward ?
Large scale reforms and improvements?
If any other business or organisation was found to be so ineffectual it would be disbanded and rebuilt.
How about the kid that was hanged by cops that was made to look like a suicide - does that suggest that the RTP is corrupt to the core?
Nope.
You make a strong argument as usual... I give you that
Blind faith wins the day once again.
Sorry - explaining logical fallacies to people who rely upon them is a waste of time

Wrong and wrong again. And it is the vows that make a marriage legal, not the paperwork. As a matter of fact, just claiming to be husband and wife is enough to be legally married in the US.
Nope - it is the paperwork not any religious nonsense
-
-
Yes they are. At least in the US. A couple is legally married after the religious ceremony.
Religious ceremonial matrimony and civil marriage are not synonymous. That's THE POINT. The former is a religious rite, the latter a legal right.
Marriage and matrimony are synonymous. Get a thesaurus. The "Rite of Holy Matrimony" is a religious rite.
Many religions offer it for gay people.
Marriage is a civil/secular contract which offers rights and obligations to people in the US.
People used the same tactics in response to Loving vs Virginia.
No, Roberts isn't correct. He wouldn't have been correct in Loving vs Virginia
Not without the marriage license issued by the state. The person performing the Rite of Holy Matrimony, is allowed to do so by the state.
I was legally married in a bank
Do I care in the least about someone's belief in mythology? No.
Does the state care about someone's mythology? No.
Settled

Looking at some youtube videos, it appears to countersteer and is very stable, however it is an ugly looking thing, no way would I buy one. They have been selling a few here in Chiang Mai, but if you look at the losses for the resell second hand value, no one seems to want them. More of a novelty than a bike.I just wonder how steering work in this bike , I mean when you push (countersteer) left its lean left and turn left or It's steer like car?
I cannot understand why Yamaha would put something like this into mass production, it is more of a "concept" bike, it will never take off, a bike is a bike a scooter is a scooter a car is a car, this thing just does not fit in.
You'd need to see how the sales are in Europe to see why Yamaha produces them.
Your final argument would have us all on horses or in buggies

it's the rtgs transliterationWho's idea was it anyway, to put an R in the English version?

Reuters reported that Malaysia was being upgraded to tier 2.
I won't be surprised if Thailand is as well

So...
I don't think the Brits lied to the families. I think the Brits told the families to say they were happy with what was going on so as not to give them (the RTP) any chance to find out what they know.
If you think the Brit authorities know who did the crime, then why did they lie to the victims' families? At the end of the day its the defence teams job to make sure there clients are found not guilty, it's not there job to solve the case.
I am sure they have in their possession numerous "revelations" which would shock and devastate many large ego's. I don't think Scotland Yard came to Thailand to sit on there <deleted> in Thailand. The Police the Brits sent were the cream of the crop, and I am sure the British Embassy did lots of "work" before the UK Police arrived on Thai shores.
I am sure the Brits and the Defence know who was involved and by forensics , probably know the names of the perpetrators.
The RTP are daft, but not stupid, a deal will be done at the right time d\for everyone involved.
I think Brit officials were unaware of the depth of corruption in Thailand, and opted to go along with their RTP silver-tongued minder. I'll be glad to be proved wrong. But until the Brits step up to the plate and do what's right, they will continue to look like easily duped dummies.
No time to make up another story.
Another conspiracy theory?

No! I am sorry. I am just trying to understand what you are trying to say here.
He never had his DNA tested.bungelbag
"That would be the ac bar cctv footage that Mon refused to hand over to the police, saying it was 'private property' iirc? Convenient"
Oh really bungelbag. Do you mean like when he came in for questioning and had his DAN tested, or do you mean that in Thailand they don't have such things as search Warrants?
Oh! That is right! I just remembered! Aren't you the one that's says the Police here can do what they like? So what is stopping them?
What's stopping the police? They are in on it & getting paid handsomely by the mafia on the island.
Do you live or have ever been to Thailand?
You are making a real fool of yourself with these inane comments
You said that Mon did not want to turn over the CCTV Footage. Then you said the police can get them if they want, but they don't want to. So are you then saying that Mon refused to turn over these CCTV Footage Tapes from the AC Bar over to the Police, because they don't want them?
Sure! This makes perfect logical sense...I think???
Goldbuggy, what about 'refusing to hand over CCTV footage' do you not understand? Police may or may not have asked for that footage. If they didn't ask for it, then it's par for the course in this case, of numerous RTP screw-ups. If cops did ask for it and were refused and left it at that, then cops should be disciplined for dereliction of duty, and Mon should be indicted for obstructing justice in a serious crime. Either way, those tapes will never be seen. It all fits with the RTP wanting no discussion or investigation of what transpired in the hours before the murders - particularly at the beach party bars: In Touch, and AC and AC2. It only adds to the mountains of potential evidence that RTP either
>>> didn't think to look for
>>> found, but trashed because it would implicate the people they're supposed to shield
>>> intentionally mis-diagnosed for public consumption (example: Mon shown in Running Man videos)
>>> thought to look for, but did a shoddy job, either intentionally or by being inept.
Some of the dozens of things the cops screwed up about:
>>> didn't look for bloody clothes outside the crime scene and didn't inspect nearby laundry facilities
>>> didn't thoroughly look at Mon's or the Headman's premises
>>> disregarded anything which happened at the bars
>>> didn't look for phone records
>>> didn't use sniffer dogs
>>> allowed Mon to prance all over the crime scene (maybe part of that can be excused, because Mon was within the crime scene in the hours before cops arrived)
>>> allowed people to handle evidence without rubber gloves
>>> didn't have qualified people doing forensics
>>> misdiagnosed David's wounds
>>> possibly misdiagmosed Hannah's wounds
>>> lied about DNA
....shall I go on?
Incidentally, the next days' of court will focus mostly on what happened at the 'safe house' and in the 2 to 3 days after, mostly re; what Burmese were pressured into admitting. Stay tuned. RTP are guaranteed to continue showing their colors.
Everything you state as facts before "need I go on" is supposition based on bias

what was with the son and the doctored CCTV images in Bangkok? Was that all set up to help his alibi?

... and he would had even had some extra time if he had bought his ticket the day before.Bangkok Air has two flight leaving Ko Samui on Monday mornings:
one leaves at 6am and arrives BKK: 7:04. the other is 7:45 arriving at 8:50
How long would it take to get to Nomsod's University apartment from airport?
The crime wrapped up at 5 am. Taking a fast boat to Samui, I assume would take less than an hour.
Even considering the above data, I suspect if he took a flight to Bkk on Monday morning, 15th September, he would have opted to do it via Chumpon. Just a hunch on my part. It's all moot, because it's very doubtful either Bangkok Air or Nok Air is going to release any data which would anger a KT headman who is allegedly mafia-like.
<snip>
LOL Crab.
Again IATA keeps records of all passengers on all flights if the airline has any international destinations.
Access to the data is easy. How do you think Yingluck's flight data got out

It wasn't meant to be a comparison to David Miller in size and age to a 64 year old man. It was meant to show that even though you may look innocent, and are small in size, it does not mean you cannot commit murder.
Hardly a fair comparison, this man was 64 and murdered by pirates on his own yacht.
David Miller was 24, allegedly murdered by hospitality workers on a resort island.
Noticed that the 3 accused were all Burmese, and like the 2 accused, and in looks and size. They admitted to the crime after an eye witness, and DNA tests on there bloody clothes. Two of the accused, aged 19 and 18, got 25 Year in Prison, as they pleading guilty and had their sentence cut into half. he third accused was also found guilty of murder. But he was only 17 years old. A Real Boy! He will be held in custody until he is 24 years old. They were also all fishermen, which hardly puts them in the Body Building Weight Class.
So if there was a comparison at all then it is with these 3 Convicted Burmese Murders, and the accused, to show that their looks, size, age, and the country they come from, has nothing to do with whether or not they can commit murder.
It's more to do with whether the B2 had the prime motivation and desire to take on and take out a far larger guy to commit rape and then brutally murder his female companion. What for? An i-phone and sunglasses? Lust is not such a motivation, as it has been pointed out by more qualified people than me. Hopefully, the defence can counter the prosecution's assertions by providing alibis plus character witnesses, plus possibly a qualified psychologist?
Pirates (the name qualifies them as vicious thugs), on the other hand, have the prime motivation to rob, and to take out anyone who gets in their way. It's a different mind set, IMO.
Anyway, granted the perps could have been of different sizes and still carried out the crimes.
Not to mention that the "pirates" were arrested with the blood of the victims on their clothes, as would be expected when someone committed a bloody murder. There was never any blood or other evidence at the rooms where the Burmese boys were sleeping. It is not conceivable that there would be no physical evidence at their sleeping room after they had committed such a crime. Anyone who thinks that a swim in the ocean could have removed all of the evidence has never tried to clean bloody clothing before.
You need to keep thinking about that.
When did the murders happen? When were they arrested? What makes you think that the bloody clothing ever went into the room?

With it being a capital case, would evidence or testimony gathered by the UK police have been turned over to the RTP?
We know that nothing exculpatory was in it. That's all we know.
