  1. They've been 'swiftly addressing' this problem for the 18 years I have lived here with no discernible results other than new BMWs for those doing the addressing.
  2. The mayors of all Bali beaches thank Pattaya for the bi-annual donations of sand.
  3. The Railway Road is a testament to Pattaya corruption and ineptitude. I've lived here for 18 years and it seems there is work to do every month with no improvement. Similarly the supplier of sand to replenish the beaches of Pattaya and Bali is making money twice a year.
  4. They never had it in the 1st place; staffed by Mathematical numbskulls with a lively imagination wearing rose-coloured glasses and related to some hi-so.
  5. I taught in an International School there. The ambitious height of my Brunei pupils was to get a job doing nothing in an A/C office whilst importing 'slaves' to do the dirty work. The two countries have a lot in common.
  6. Hasn't the Statute of Limitation clicked into action? 'Do you know who my (God)father was?
  7. 'The delivery service is expected to compensate him for the loss.'
  8. What use is a sub? What use could ฿13.5 billion be put to? QED!
  9. 'Ex-Thai PM Yingluck Condemns Violence in the Middle East' - well that should calm things down. She ended her speech by saying/reading 'Thank you three times.'
  10. 'Lots of our taxi drivers find and return millions of bahtsworth of property left in their cabs daily.' They are often so concerned that they forget to turn on their meter.
  11. The AI will fail as soon as there's a need for a Thai worker to do any work.
  12. Horse; stable; bolt. Reactive - never proactive unless it benefits the police.
  13. Thanks to those who recommended 'Black Cab' - excellent. Just started 'Payback' which looks worth it.
  14. A rare success for Pattaya Plod's cross-dressing division.
  15. Mr. Bang in a taxi with Thai girls and a bag goes missing? I have my suspicions. He needn't worry Thai taxi drivers are always returning lost property worth millions.
  16. Most Thais first encounter corruption from the village cops. It conditions their future dealings in everything. This rot is endemic to every facet of Thai society and will take generations to change things not the last year of Torsak's career as a policeman.
