But Chohmpher, the investigation hasn't concluded yet. Besides, if you had read the list I provided you would have seen many, many reasons to defund the BBC. I know they are a valuable tool for the left wing and hence your undying support, but it's really time for them to go. And go they will. Tick tock.

More likely a few riots, which the Junta will use as an excuse to retain power for the "peace and stability" of Thailand. I don't see them handing power over just because the people have spoken. They have nothing but contempt for the people.

Let's wait for the investigation to conclude before we conclude it was a pile of tosh, rather than a report from The Guardian that an alleged crack cocaine addict is now denying it. Even if this one turns out to be a hoax, it's not like there is a shortage of other controversies to warrant the defunding of this disgraceful, politically biased media company. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBC_controversies

The price war on EVs may harm interests of customers
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
I'd say the lack of charging stations, range anxiety and the cost of renewing batteries is more harmful to the interest of customers. EV's are probably best suited to commuting in congested cities like Bangkok. Unfortunately, huge swathes of the commuters live in condos where it's difficult to charge them overnight. I say this as an owner of an electric mountain bike and a Hybrid Toyota so I am not anti EV, I just think fully Electric vehicles have a lot of drawbacks for many people. My car does 1000 kms on a tank and can be recharged (refueled) in a minute. I don't even need to exit the vehicle to do so. EV's are still a long way off that. -
Ah, the old Brick Top quote. Maybe they hadn't found anyone with a pig farm yet? ???? As other posters have said, given his history with underage girls it does seem that Mr Mack was living a somewhat dodgy lifestyle and simultaneously not exactly staying under the radar. I guess Mark Morrison's classic 1996 hit won't be required any time soon. The foreigners transporting the body don't seem too smart either. That box looks transparent to me!! I'm guessing these were not particularly professional hitmen.

GOP hit list: Biden officials targeted by Republicans for impeachment
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Great news. It’s about time this debauched and deceitful family is held to account. -
Yes I was seeing it on Twitter long before the likes of the BBC picked it up. When stories don't fit their narrative of multi cultural utopia they tend to wait to see if it all blows over before exposing the cold hard reality to the masses that fund their leftist political agenda. Unfortunately for them it didn't blow over this time. Quite the opposite. It blew up. Good luck to the French people.

Straight from the left wing authoritaion playbook. Ultimately this was down to the opinion/decision of unelected judges reversing the decision of a democratically elected government. Unelected people in positions of power going against the will of the people and the government they elected. Not unlike a banana republic. Shameful.

Complete tosh. If you interview 3 people and think they are all equally suited for the job then you shouldn't be interviewing. I interview all the time and at the end have a list of pluses and minuses on various aspects of their character and capability. The idea that I would sink to the level that race became the deciding factor is abhorrent to me. Both as a professional and as a person.

Titanic tourist sub photos show wreckage being brought ashore
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
My link showed plenty of reasons. Did you even read it? If you don't believe me talk to the designer. Oh wait a minute... -
Not sure what a posit hat is but maybe a tin foil hat would be more appropriate for your bizarre conspiracy theories. They are implementing the policy gradually to avoid a huge reaction from the woke MSM. Give it time. As long as Labour stay in the wilderness we will move in a positive direction. Labour would simply open the gates while back slapping at Islington wine parties.

They could have stayed in France. Perfectly safe. But no, not enough benefits there. They might have to work. So they threw the dice. The lure of benefits Britain was too strong. Decisions have consequences. They would be fine in Rwanda. Just avoid the hotspots and it's no issue. More MSM hype. They might have had to work for a living in Rwanda though.... that danger has passed thanks to British taxpayers. Economic migrants playing the system. Meanwhile British servicemen rot homeless on the streets.

Pathetic. This type of nonsense plays into the hands of far right groups. Time to enforce sensible immigration policies like The East is doing. No wonder the East is surging ahead of the West with this type of idiocy. Stop pandering to the left wing woke mob. Implement a sensible policy an enforce it.

Don Mueang Airport ranks among the most dangerous airports in the world
JonnyF replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I'd have thought Phuket was up there. I've had quite a few dicey landings there. Even if the plane lands OK you've got the taxi mafia to deal with. -
Green snake startles Thai classroom, valiant rescue ensues
JonnyF replied to snoop1130's topic in Isaan News
Not sure if you are being sarcastic, but in case any readers think that is correct I think it's best to confirm that some green snakes are not harmless, including the green pit viper which can be found here in Thailand and could easily be confused with the golden tree snake. Whilst rarely fatal, you wouldn't want to be bitten by one. -
Titanic tourist sub photos show wreckage being brought ashore
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Many reasons. https://www.formguru.co.in/2023/06/carbon-fiber-submarine.html#:~:text=Carbon fiber is more brittle, catastrophic failure of the submarine. Hardly. The nose cone is intact and the part of the hull/tail appears over 2 metres long. Which given the length of the sub to start with, means that's a pretty large section.
