Trans exclusionary radical feminist. Basically a code word for traditional feminists that believe in women's rights.

There Is Only Male and Female. Women Pay the Price When We Pretend Otherwise
Unfortunately we run the risk of violence when we refuse to pretend. Here is a trans activist encouraging people to "punch a TERF in the f*****g face". Now if he was booed or even met with awkward silence that would be one thing. But the most disturbing part is the cheers from the crowd.

Puncture.
I've done thousands of kms on plugs, including high speeds on large sports bikes. Never an issue. I also tried to remove a plug on an old tyre after it was replaced. No way that sucker was coming out. I'd say you have a much higher chance of getting a new puncture on a separate section of the tyre than an existing plug failing. Of course, the tyre companies will tell you they are temporary, better to buy a new tyre ASAP etc.

The price war on EVs may harm interests of customers
You're correct actually. Officially they are privately owned but with links to the CCP. Here's some info on their chairman. Not a company I would personally support. https://www.ft.com/content/c5129ef8-8982-11e7-bf50-e1c239b45787

Huw Edwards in hospital as he is named in BBC presenter row
Because it shows the massive inconsistency between the sympathetic way the BBC reports on one of it's own (Edwards) compared to the way it vitroilically reports on someone from the other side of the political spectrum (Cummins). I would have thought that was obvious dear.

Has the Dumbing-down of British TV Become a Blight Upon the World? (Slow Decline Beginning c.1976?)
Benny Hill is still doing great in Spain, they love it. https://www.theweek.co.uk/news/world-news/959369/benny-hill-enjoys-a-revival-in-spain The decline has happened in the last few years unfortunately, where political correctness has ruled out most forms of humour to the point that most re-runs need "trigger warnings" and comedians get cancelled or even assaulted on stage for telling jokes. More serious shows/series have also been affected, where historical figures have to be played by someone of the opposite sex, race etc. just so the producers can prove they are "right on".

Europe to get even hotter as 50C (122F) recorded in US and China
I made the mistake of opening up the BBC website first thing this morning. From the first few stories you'd think the planet was about to implode in a fiery ball of man made iniquity. I turned it off, opened my curtains to hear birds tweeting from my Bangkok balcony. A balmy 27 degrees. No wonder so many people are suffering mental health issues with this type of alarmist reporting. They may as well be walking around screaming "The End is Nigh" from their loudspeakers. It really has become a doomsday cult. I feel sorry for kids growing up now, some of whom no doubt believe the planet only has 5 years left, or whatever the climate alarmists latest prediction is. The picture kind of sums it up. Drama queen in the foreground, reality in the background.

Huw Edwards in hospital as he is named in BBC presenter row
This thread is about Edwards and the way the BBC covered it, not Conservative party announcements so stop trying to divert the conversation. Their coverage of Cummins for essentially taking a detour was disgraceful, especially given the sympathy shown towards Edwards for allegedly far worse behaviour (including the same offense of breaking lockdown but with many layers of sleazy behaviour laid on top). Compare this hit piece from Maitlis to the sympathetic Edwards coverage... Show me an equivalent hit piece from the BBC on Edwards. Here's a clue, there isn't one. Once again, they are showing political bias and looking after one of their own. Just like they did with the cigar smoking shell suit donning fixer. And yes, the BBC did report on Rosindall. They were hardly going to miss that opportunity, were they? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-61487215

Twitter temporarily restricts tweets users can see, Elon Musk announces
Yes I must say it's great as a consumer to have less ads popping up all the time. Unlike FaceBook where it's 5 ads for every post by people I am interested in. Haven't tried Threads but I guess it's the same as FB. Certainly it will be if the EU ever approves it.

Huw Edwards in hospital as he is named in BBC presenter row
It's really interesting to compare the weeks long vitriol towards Dominic Cummins for allegedly breaking Covid lockdown rules to visit his family, compared to the sympathy for Huw Edward's allegedly doing the same thing to visit his teenage, wannabe (allegedly drug addicted) lover. Could it be due to the fact that Edwards is a BBC luvvie whereas Cummins was a right wing Tory with links to Boris? Surely not... no way this is in any way political...

The price war on EVs may harm interests of customers
Yes Bangkok is not Thailand but it's where the money is. If EV's are going to be big here they have to work out the issues of owning one in BKK. It could clear up a lot of the air pollution so i hope they can. I see a few here and there in BKK. Nobody at my office has one. Nobody in my condo has one (although in fairness it's only 48 units). And nobody in the area around my farm in Korat has one, mainly diesel pickup trucks there. I suspect for the reasons I have stated. The other reason might be that many of the affordable models are Chinese and they aren't fully trusted yet. Or maybe like me they dont like supporting Chinese state owned businesses like GWM.

A good move from Musk. 1000 a day is plenty. If you reach that limit maybe its time to get some fresh air and some exercise.

The Beeb going into full damage limitation mode now. Fortunately they have a lot of experience dealing with these awkward situations. They know how to "fix it" (for you and you and you and.... bah bah bah bah bah bah) Now then now then.... https://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/bbc-bosses-issue-staff-stern-30476054

The price war on EVs may harm interests of customers
And therein lies the problem. So many commuters live in condos. In many condos you are lucky to find a parking space let alone a charging bay for an EV. Getting to work and back in BKK can take several hours already without worrying about charging an EV. Great for foreign retirees living in houses who only need to worry about a weekly 100 kms round trip to Makro. Not so great for the Thai workforce.

The price war on EVs may harm interests of customers
Like I said, they are fine for short trips if you don’t live in a condo. My e-bike is great for getting me to the MRT station and back but it’s a one trick pony, I won’t be selling the VTwin Ducati for weekend trips to the beach and back that’s for sure. I am considering an EV for my farm but the drawback is the range won’t get me to Bangkok and back (600 kms) on one charge and my condo in BKK has no charging facility. The idea of pulling into a rare charging station to find all the bays are in use with a queue of several hours fills me with dread. I will stick with the e-bike for now. At least I can carry the battery up to my apartment to charge it.

Trump criticizes end of White House cocaine probe
Could be anyone. A close aide. Another member of the family. Another member of the administration? Why would you assume I must be referring to Hunter? Is his reputation really that bad now that one mention of a coverup involving Cocaine and you automatically assume it must be him?

Trump criticizes end of White House cocaine probe
Evidence of what? I never said they were Hunter's drugs. It seems you have quite the imagination.

Trump criticizes end of White House cocaine probe
I'm afraid I do not have access to the White House's CCTV footage. Although given the apparent lack of security there I might just book myself a tour and grab it while I'm there. Just look away from the cameras for a second while I pick it up. They'll never catch me with so many visitors coming and going ????.
-
Trump criticizes end of White House cocaine probe
Hunter's drug use has been well documented. No need to imagine anything.
-
Trump criticizes end of White House cocaine probe
I am not doubting that cameras picked it up.

Trump criticizes end of White House cocaine probe
Nothing to see? How many people do you think turn their back to the camera and then approach this cubby hole? You think you can't identify someone because they turn their back to the camera for a couple of seconds? They'd be easily identified from the next CCTV camera they appeared on, or the same CCTV camera once they turn around again. Unless security is even worse than suspected, this bag of Coke would have been found quite quickly so the timeframe would be quite short. If they genuinely don't know who put it there it's a damning indictment on the security setup there. You think you could get into the Kremlin, dump a bag of Coke in a cubby hole and get out without ever being identified? It's incredibly embarrassing for the security team. Or maybe that dastardly Trump dangled from the ceiling and placed it there, ala Ethan Hunt? You know that's actually a decent point. I can't imagine Hunter hangs onto bags of Coke for too long before they enter an orifice.
