Though in the UK I'm trying to arrange the UK end to have two silo accounts that could potentially be involved in a future tax discussion.  Keeping most daily UK transactions separate, even just from the point of view of less pages to look at.

I get mine from Bangkok bank every year takes a few days for the one year acount and then the letter. People get in such a huff over stuff you got to do. Start paying cash if you do not want people seeing your account.

for the actual hes detained , you must release him , and the rest is even expired ( and the actual case nearly expire was thinking 20 years in max)

He was charged because he rubbed the wrong people the wrong way.

It has been reported over the last year that the Chinese have established undercover police stations in the US, Caanada, Europe and a few other countries. These are suppose to be Chinese outreach centers to assist Chinese citizens to take care of business back home. But it was reported that they were being used to intimidate there citizens to get some to return to Chins were charges were filled aganist them. Probably these police station exsist in Thailand

Short answer would probably be "No," at least for those countries with bilateral tax agreements with Thailand.  If you're paying income tax in your home countries, then Thailand has no claim to tax the income twice.
