  1. I'd like to think that most the people here would have more sense than to do that, I mean, how old are you or are you just trying to troll up some argument?
Just a sad loser who's never achieved anything. A chance for a bit of fame by

Question 2 answer- wrong I went in, however, I did not take sides and didn't throw a stick on the floor guess I must be a bit of a wimp then?

Did either of you make a post about how tough this guy was for throwing a stick on the ground? If not, pipe down. My post was for those saying the guy has no balls. Try reading things in their entirety next time.

Those of you who are snitches & keyboard warriors, have fun with your witch hunt. Make sure to spend a lot of time on this guy, call every tip line you can find and show the video to the world. Keep calling the BBC and show every Thai authority you can. Then when they LOL at you because you have nothing, come back and revisit this post. In the meantime, learn a thing or two about the law, because most of you clearly have no grasp of it currently. Oh, you also may want to go back and read the news BEFORE this jack hole made his comment because the reds already said they were going to burn Central World down.

I'm amazed at the ignorance in this thread. Either you guys live here and keep your head up your arse or you don't live here and pretend you do. Everyone knew the reds made this threat, yet this is more hate pointed to this one falang than there is against the people who actually burned it down. Incredible.

I think you will find the key word in the video is "we" that makes him part of the movement and the movement have been declared terrorists. Add that to the stills on this thread and I would say legally there is a pretty strong case in any country, confessions or prior knowledge are always good news for prosecutors. But in Thailand? Oh he is proper screwed and for what? Being down with the Thai people? :)

He has balls alright but no brains at all.

Oh and you have yet to present any evidence to prove that he didn't burn Central down, who knows? You?

I don't care either way, this is a matter for Thai's, just thought I would add a couple of points that perhaps you have not considered?

  2. Good! You can't negotiate with anarchist criminals who have been shown remarkable tolerance thus far. Their criminal mob have held the Country to ransom for long enough and their concern for human life is hypocritically one sided stemming only from the desire of their leaders to get an amnesty so they can go off and spend Thaksin's millions.

Where do you get such garbage? They want democratically elected governments to be left alone to rule without the elitist army backed thugs removing them from power and then slaughtering them in the streets when they protest. It's the government who are the criminals.

    Or:

Does someone want his 76 billion back?

  3. Not the most exciting race with the exception of the last lap. Rossi did well considering the injury as it is a really painful experience and described in some circles as worse than a break, a proper high side injury.

Nice to see Hayden bag a load of points and beat Stoner.

Again did not get to see what Spies is capable of, faulty front tire?

Did anyone else notice the collapsed shock in the 125's? The commentators didn't for over 10 laps, how much are they paid? :)

Well I did write that comment off the cuff, technically I dont think it was MotoGP, but it was definitely the top drawer. 2001 leon Haslam rode a 500, pretty sure it was a twin and not competitive but the point I was making is, he's been there even if he was 18. I seem to remember he was pretty miuch always behind Anthony West who was on an also uncompetitive 500 triple, also pictures of Rocket Ron in the pits and on the grid come to mind.

I stand corrected... the shell advance effort it was a v4 and possibly not the best career move... certainly not memorable.

  5. In Thailand these tattoos are looked down upon by much of Thai society. Right or wrong it is a fact. Anyone venturing outside the bar/tourist scene and interacting with the Thai population will realize this soon enough. So if a woman has these she would be best to put them in subtle places.

The poster clearly does not like the tattoos on his partner. She knowingly received a tattoo to his opposition with no prior discussion. There are plenty of women who would have consulted her partner both in Thailand and abroad.

As a side note :D I was going to get a penis reduction from 14" to 8". I discussed it with my girlfriend and she begged me not to do it so I must continue to tape it to my leg when in public. :D

Actually, much of Thai society views well executed "fashion" tattoos in a different way to many of the "monkey house" traditional tattoos. How else do you explain Thai TV superstars sporting full sleeves? Surely they would not be on National media but rather selling their arse in Nana?

Tape? Go for a prince Albert, sew a hook in your jeans and simply fold the penis back on itself and hook it on your belt, if you had tattoos you would have known this already. :)

  6. But none of that is the issue. If a person is going to do something that is blatantly outside the norm of respected society at least have the common sense to ask your partner for a second opinion. Is not doing so is a sign of bad things to come? Yes I think so.

    Here's a thought:

Man who you stay with because you love...... Partner.

Man you stay with because he pay............... Customer

Far be it from me to suggest for one second that I understand the workings of the female mind, but: Maybe they don't respect a customer/employer in the same way as a boyfriend/partner?

You could add a new clause to the contract of employment to avoid this ugly situation in the future. :)

  7. You guys arguing with me are completely missing the point. I LIKE TATTOOS. I think the nice ones are very cool, cheap badly drawn tattoos are terrible though but most people would agree with that. I am simply pointing out the utter truth that you are all so desperate to deny. THAI PEOPLE as a culture look down upon and judge people wearing tattoos. END OF STORY. Nothing you say is going to make that untrue, a handful here and there that think they are cool doesn't change the fact that 90% of the Thai population will judge you. That's it that's all. No need to argue any further for I have now quite clearly slam dunked the truth down your throats have I not? Yes I know I have. :D

Some of you have a real hard time catching my humour... ah well. I don't judge people with tatoos, I just like to joke about stereotypes, especially in a country that stereotypes EVERYONE everyday. There's many things I like about Thailand, the lack of freedom of expression is not one of those things.

Could it be you are not funny? just a thought.

let me explain the second part of my post as it clearly sailed over your head: You were (and still are) speaking for "90% of the Thai population" hence spokesman.... get it? Who appointed you? where did you get your figures from? did you carry out a census (because you missed a few of the population out, i asked and apparently you didn't consult them)? Or are you able to read the minds of the entire Thai nation?

Just because YOU say it is a fact does not make it a fact.

Also I find it interesting that you are an expert on Thai culture when it is clear from your posts that you have failed to get to grips with Western culture, ever heard of polite intelligent conversation?

No kobi, you have not "clearly slam dunked the truth" down our throats. you have failed miserably. :)

  8. Hehe who are you people trying to convince with your blatant lies? Or are you guys really that daft? TATTOOS = HOOKER in THAILAND. I actually like tattoos! But Im so glad I didnt get any since I decided to move here, Thai people are very judgemental about looks and the generalise you every second they can.

You didn't want to be mistaken as a hooker?

    understandable.

No I didn't want to be perceived as a scummy dirt bag sex tourist alcoholic. That's what all you tattoo covered sleeveless shirt shorts and sandal wearing beer bellied ignoramasus' are arent you? :D Because even if you aren't, that is EXACTLY what you look like to every Thai person you encounter. If you didn't know this you people truly are as stupid as you look.

We are not stupid, we all knew this :)

Back in our home countries of course, this would not be the stigma attached with your appearance, but this is Thailand, and to deny it and argue against it is complete and wanton wishful thinking and denial of reality.

Agreed: We leave the wishful thinking and denial of reality to you poor clean skinned schmuks wandering the streets of nana with a pole hugger hanging on your arm whilst proclaiming to anyone who will listen: she /he was a hairdresser when I met her/him".

I can see clearly what with your wonderful turn of phrase Thailand and it's people must be thrilled to now have such an eloquent spokesman :D

  10. Then I had an unexpected problem and needed an operation which meant I was in the hospital for a couple of weeks and knocked out during the operation and 8 hours or so afterwards. The whole thing happened very quickly and I didn't have time to arrange a nurse to stay with me. The maid stayed with me in a private room sleeping on the couch for the two weeks. It was a Thai hospital and she doesn't speak any English which wasn't much help except she kept an eye on my cell phone and wallet.

    I have to ask.... lobotomy?

  11. I think its a disgusting fashion promoted around the world by certain mindless media and opportunistic people that will gladly disfigure beautiful skin for their own personal gain. Its too bad she got suckered into a terrible fashion trend but that's all it is. Someday she will probably try a laser treatment, etc. to get rid of it.

yep a disgusting fashion that has been around for about as long a fire.... should be over any day now.

Big difference if you're in say, a jungle tribe, where ritual tattoos have been a part of the cutural for centuries and those that don't get them would be the social outcasts.

In most western and Asian cultures, tats aren't part of the central culture and often associated with criminal activity, gang membership, or as is often the case, someone seeking attention or wishing to participate in a fashionable fad.

Haute couture, medallions, bell bottoms and the like, will come and go, and can easily be discarded, but a nasty heiney tat is forever. A cutesy little butterfly titty tat at 20 years old will look some mutant condor at 40 or 50.

Nope no tattoo history in Asia or the west.... just New Zealand and the occasional pygmy in a rain forest somewhere... now I understand, outstanding research there chap... i tip my hat. :)

  12. Toseland made the mistake of crossing Colin Edwards at the start of 09, after a pretty good season for a rookie in 08, he decided he wanted Colin Edwards crew chief, this pissed Colin off and James lost the mind games badly, hence 2010. He won two World Superbike titles and neither were lucky, he is an extremely talented and clever rider.

Ive been pretty lucky. I was at New Era Club meetings in 1999/2000 when the Stoners bought Casey over and shoved him in the 125's with dispensation to race at 14, very very special indeed. But a little bit prone to spitting the dummy. The BSB support race in 03 was the first year of the virgin mobile cup which is the series you are talking about, great series and they were reason pit bikes were banned in the bsb paddock in 03.

Haslam did some 125 GP's not moto gp which is where the confusion is coming from, he has raced on the world stage before.

The Brits to watch: Toseland will go from strength to strength and for now the Yamaha is not treating tires well, once thats sorted Cal Crutchlow will also be on the pace. Leon Haslam has really clicked with that Suzuki and is one of my tips to win it, the pick of the bunch for me is Leon Camier lovely lad and once he stops binning it (he goes though these fazes) he will be a regular race winner, Johnny Rea is quality but sometimes a tadge too aggresive, Tom Sykes should not have gone to Kawasaki he can mix it with the top Brits but the ZX10 looks like a lemon, Shakey is past his sell by date lightening quick but fitness will show in the last third of a race. I tip either Haslam or Rea with advantage Haslam.

Moto GP: I hope Spies delivers or it could look like another Rossi year.... Pedrosa has been criticized for not battling with rossi, showed his new determination in the first few laps then got bagged and dropped back to ? no change there. Stoner doesnt want to get into a Laguna situation with Rossi again so will continue to run from the front, but if he doesnt deal with the pressure we will see repeats of Qatar followed by dummy spitting, Lorenzo will give Rossi grief but he is quite mad and will either win or bin it, not consistent enough but entertaining! Dovi?? Could be a dark horse, Hayden has something to prove, he deserved his World Championship he had the most points I would like to see him challenge. I think it will be another Rossi year with Stoner, Lorenzo, Spies and Hayden knocking on the door...

    But...

    I could be wrong :)

I am back in UK so watching Moto GP, WSB and BSB w.end in w.end out.... will be popping up to Oulton Park at the weekend... :D

  13. Well the 250s visit the same tracks every year for a start, and traditionally the 125s and 250s have been the lead in or best school to the top class, it used to be about maintaining corner speed on the 2 stroke machines, particularly when the top class was 500cc 2 strokes. However the 4 stroke MotoGP came along, but it still seems the riders coming up from 250 are best suited, although the transition from Superbike can be done (Hayden won a world championship 4 or 5 years ago transitioning from American Superbikes, and Wayne Gardner and Mick Doohan were more well known as Superbike riders before winning MotoGP) . The 250 guys probably get a better grounding in setting up the bike and using the technology as well and a lot of them speak Italian, Spanish or Japanese which can probably be an advantage in the pits and at contract time as well. The Superbikes, based on a production motorcycle are more well known for "stop and squirt" style riding, with generally lower cornering speed, however the differences are I think less obvious these days.

Unless you count Spies Moto GP Rookie and current World Superbike Champion who finished 5th in Qatar... the highest placed rookie. :)

In fact Spies was quickest on the track for about a third of the race but only by tenths of a second, on the same (slow) bike as Rossi, actually a satellite version so not the same spec and with no data (he had to set it up himself), had it not been for a very near high-side in qualifying on his last soft Bridgestone (qualifying tire) Spies could well have been front row and away with Rossi et al. That could have been interesting as he has been in the top four all through winter testing and certainly has the pace to live with the doctor... and possibly the strength of character to deal with the mind games also.

WSB was quite excellent today with 3 brits on the rostrum in both races. nice to see Toseland sorting his head out and Haslam and Rea could be making the moto GP grid in the not too distant future, best crop of riders we have had for years!

  15. 1. The needles that are used are ALWAYS sterile and you are always shown them being taken out of a new air tight packet.

    2. What has having a tattoo got to do with working in a bar??........... There are alot of girls, even hi -so girls with tattoos, its called being individual and not following the flock.

If i was her I would be kicking you out for being so petty and small minded about tattooed girls.

    Regards

    VM

Dont want to worry you Mark but:

    1. The needles in Thailand are as dodgy as the street food depending where you eat of course. plenty of studios boiling them up and re bagging them to save a baht or two, that said a farang is more likely to get the second hand stuff than a Thai... depends on the studio and the owners morals. ink is also cut with listerine amongst other thinners, I have even caught distributors trying to do this so sometimes... 1 bottle of ink becomes 2?

Just putting the record straight, most pro studios do a pro job but if in doubt walk away.

as to the bird.... kick her out she is clearly of low moral standards. :)

  16. A lot of people post on Thai Visa that don't live in Thailand. A lot of people post on Thai Visa who have never lived in Thailand.

I have lived in Thailand for about 6 years and have not left. I have no intention of leaving.

I live here because of my faith in my future.

As I get older and hopefully wiser I become more and more convinced of what my future holds.

Every girlfriend I have lived with has been better than the last.

Perhaps it is my ability to speak Thai or my vast understand of the cultural intricacies of Thailand, I don't know.

So I stay here for my next girlfriend.

If you leave you will never know. You may have given up on the day before the miracle was about to happen.

Dude, that has to be the saddest reason for staying in Thailand that I have ever heard. However the more posts I read the more I believe it is the last justification the "Thai huggers" can cling to.

Back in Blighty and it's all good, actually feel like I have a purpose in life rather than waiting to expire in the sun amongst the desperate and needy :)

  17. ^ Agreed. Kind of puts this report into the proper context of a total failure of the police to bring down a single major drug dealer, ever, in Pattaya.

What about that Ausie guy a couple of years ago? Had multi million baht Harley loads of dosh under his matress but was so brazen that he kept the pill press and the merchandise almost on show, it was as though he felt like he was untouchable. But luckily the then police cheif nabbed him on his last day in office before he left for BKK :)
