  1. You may call all these deaths as suicide, police in most other countries would call it murder, is there a Thai word for murder, police RTP here would never know one I am sure

So who is operating this murder squads around Thailand, throwing unsuspecting foreigners off from high rises on an almost daily basis [emoji15]?

In most cases its accidental and in the rest it's suicide... Nothing more to it.

  2. The time is long overdue just to kick this creatures out,, regardless if their country of origin doesn't accept them back and then instead of our navies escorting this undesirables into Europe, start patrolling our borders and refuse them to leave the African continent. So these people are poor.... So where millions of Europeans not that long ago, but we worked hard to overcome this and then we progressed. If some races or countries aren't willing or able to try to do the same, tough luck, but most of us aren't willing or no longer can afford to foot the bill for you anymore !!

  3. I see 2017 starts quite well for the racists alt-rights.

Goebels agreed with you on more than one point. Let's hope the thai won't do a racial profiling when it comes to big bellied farangs on walking street...

What a load of hoagwash. Your pathetic attempts to bring up all the unfairs that has happened through the centuries is a total dud. I'm talking about about up until recently you could ban groups of people you didn't want on your premises or loitering in public harassing others , nobody is talking about blacks being put on the back of the bus

  4. I paid much more for a similar bed here than in Australia, bedroom furniture like side tables, nearly double for similar items at home. Same for sheets, towels etc.  There is cheap furniture here, if you don't mind rubbish made from particle board.

Agree. I come from a high cost country (Norway) and furniture there are cheaper and of better quality than the one I've found in Thailand...... And that goes for most of the other household items as well.

Great for you. If you bother to read more before comment. Someone already made almost the same quote on my post like you just did. I also answered that one. The same return answer goes for you. So, this discussion was already over before you quoted.

I don`t have the time to read all the posts so I quoted your biased post.....fair enough ?!?!

The way to stop all this is simply by voting with your feet. Walking street is a dying area- most Western tourists are avoiding it and the government is going to push it so it will either close or change to a more friendly atmosphere.  I wouldn't go there if you paid me. One of the more disgusting places in Thailand.

Walking Street is a dying area? WS is a tourist attraction, same as the Red Light District in Amsterdam. In both the curious tourists far outnumber punters these days.

You shouldn´t have any bad comments on this one. You are purely without a blindfold stating the cold hard truth. Everybody that hasn´t had time to have fun and drink enuogh at 03.00, is either worthless at drinking or just gone over the line. It´s actually far enough with: Pattaya + No Alcohol + 23.00! Just a sick and very criminal part of Thailand. Can´t imagine how people from outside want to build/rent a house there or rent an condo. My thought of coming here is to have a nice and relaxing life, not have to be in a city where people have to fear for their lifes every time they want to go out and have fun.

"where people have to fear for their lives every time they want to go out and have fun." ?!?!  This is the Pattaya,Thailand forum, not the Caracas Venezuela one.I`ve never feared for my safety in Pattaya..........neither has anyone else I know here.

The guy they arrested is a career criminal. Was involved in pretty much anything illegal and then some. In 1998 he escaped from custody and made it to Thailand. Here, he was involved in another murder case, related to a drug deal. Was convicted of of assisting to dispose of the body (which got chopped, btw) and was extradited to Israel. That was in 2003-2004. During this prison term he was recruited by the police as state witness/undercover operative and assisted in incriminating others. Things went sour (more demands, trying to double cross the police). Anyway, sentence was cut and he came back here.

The victim is NOT the the murderer that chopped his wife back in 2004. Same name, different person.

I see that the "Good guys in.......bad guys out" scheme is working out just fine :coffee1:............

  8. Nice one ! I saw on 2 different messageboards today that these guys was portrayed as the poorest of the poor ,ex-fishermen that hardly scraped by taking tourist parasailing or doing trips to the nearby islands............Same shit I`ve heard in Phuket for the last 25 years.Give 5% of these guys licences to operate on a legal basis.......For the rest: The World`s labour market is constantly changing ..........You`ve had your golden years ripping of people,it`s now changed and do you`re gonna adjust, same like people all over the the developed and semi-developed  are doing on a daily basis !!

I haven't seen anything like that variety of snakes (!), but agree that when seeing a snake in the garden I'm too fascinated to think about taking a 'photo - and on the odd occasion a snake has come into the house, I'm concentrating on getting it out.....

I think someone mentioned about just sweeping out snakes that come into the house (but it could have been another thread).  Easier said than done as they hide in/under/the furniture within a couple of seconds, and even when they're in an obvious place between bamboo curtains and windows - its still hard to find an easy way to get them out back into the garden!

edit - particularly liked the 'photo of your dog pretending it hadn't noticed the snake .

Is the first one a yellow/black banded krait  ?

  10. Used to live in a forrested and quiet area of Rawai years ago and in that year I only saw 2 snakes around the property.................A pity because I like them :saai:.
