  1. Not beautiful and must maintain respect for Heroines
  2. Another report says he slewed into 5 roadside vendors and those were the injured.
  3. As I understand it Bruno owns/manages the hotel Palma Resort. This Mario I thought brother/family first open an Italian restaurant over 15 years ago at the newly built 'Resort' (cant remember the name, still empty, being remodel these past 10 years as condos) on Nanai Road south/opposite of Makro but that place closed after just a few years. Bruno seemed to set up a catering supplies business on Nanai 2 opposite the Palma Resort, AFAIK Bruno manages the hotel and restaurant Capannina. This might old info as I rarely visit our apartments on Nanai 2. Be honest I never see Bruno and only see Mario tese last couple of years. Mario closed the catering supplies shop during covid. Never open again from my observations.
  4. Far too fast for that bend. Idiot driver.
  5. Here in Kata Karon rain was light from 06.00 to 12.00. My CCTV over in Patong did not show heavy rain. Think flooding localised. Kamala, Chern Talay, and Thalang looked bad.
  6. And excellent free health without waiting in the long queue. That's why he turned himself in .....
  7. How could have stayed in Thailand for almost 30 years on a fake passport ? Renewed passport each 10 years ? UK home office got a lot to answer.
  8. I second them. Used them myself for probate work.
  9. Yes Yes and Yes. I overstay think they can just get out of Thailand with a free card that is not justice.
  10. After he paid the fine. Think max is 20k Baht.
  11. None one has any idea and anyone tells you they can fix it for a fee you should run away fast. We just all have to sit and wait for the situation to become clear. I pay my UK tax on my 2 pensions. If I ever get a tax demand I will just go my local tax office and display my annual Uk taxes paid receipts. I have no idea how the Thai Tax office can administer this huge burden on them.
  12. Aways need clean out ground well every few years
  13. Kata Beach & Kata Village. Close enough to all entertainment. Taxi over Patong and bus into malls in Chalong/Phuket town
  14. Is it a ground well or a storage tank ? I think ground well and water leaching in has eroded the ground. Best fill with rocks and infill gaps with soil.
  15. I did that for 8 years in the Med on a 36ft ketch. Great life. Only sold the boat when I moved to Thailand.
  16. 6 month old post.
  17. Even more AI prose. What the publication think about.
  18. All AI generated. Way over the top flowerly parsing
  19. Depend on the source of the water. Many do not have piped in water which is usually treated. A deep bore well will give good water and I have drank the water from our deep well. Most common are ground wells 10 or 15 meters deep and i would not drink that as much chance of ground contamination. This type of water would required extensive treatment before being fit for drinking.
  20. We learned from our first 2 projects build as big a storage tank as possible. First build only 5,000 liters, 2nd 30,000 liters, and Kata 400,000 liters under the building to store rainwater as no ground water worth going the cost of deep well ( we tried 3 bore holes to 70m )
  21. For sure not for us in Patong. Not piped water. Ground dry. Wife on phone all morning and cant get a water truck delivery.
  22. Today out homes in Patong no water. Had no piped water for 10 days. Ground well dry. Water truckers nor even answer phone now. Thats it for our guests. No water.
  23. Safer for working on high cables during the daytime.
  24. We moved to Kata 17 years ago. Back then Patong on a steep decline with too much traffic, too many poor quality tourist, taxi mafia, etc. Perfect for the party animals. While the through traffic along Patak road is a nightmare, and there has been over building, Kata never has gone fully into the nightlife scene.
