  1. Hello  All

I finished my PGCEi - handed in my final assignment weeks ago but don't get the award confirmation until early December

I included my enrollment document which showed the period of study 10 Oct 2018-1 Oct 2019 but my work permit was rejected (the day after my study period ended ironically)

I've reached my waiver limit (6 years on a temporary license) but believed proof of enrollment would be enough to get me another waiver

Does Krusapha require award confirmation for a waiver now??

I'm flummoxed what to do as my visa runs out on 26 November.

    Any advice greatly appreciated...

  2. Hello All

I'm tired of sticking to this leather sofa in the heat

Where can I get a sofa throwover - something that is aesthetically pleasing too would be nice

Ideally a soft, heavy, blanket-like rectangle of king-size-bed-sized material (I'm not gonna throw a sheet or a duvet over as that would me madness)

Are there shops in Pattaya? Maybe I could buy from a material merchant of some sort?

thanks to anyone who can help...

and regards to all on here

PGCE (no i) from university of London is a lot cheaper

No 'I' but the 'P' is 'professional' not 'post' - hmmm too late for me but half the price - Is it recognised? Princess Anne is the chancellor so the uni must be legit.

I'm sure the Thais will recognise it as they do the Mickey mouse Filipino ones...

    good luck all

  4. Thanks so much for the replies

to muddy the waters further, I start at a new school in May.

Ive been at my current school for 10 years and I'm resigning after several others have including the long-served HoD (yet to be replaced). I'll get the reference and all my documents at the end of March.

So I start at a new school having had 5 waivers over 6 years and I'm 6 months off graduating on my PGCEI. I wish I'd have thought this through beforehand...

  5. Hello friends

I'm currently studying for a PGCEI with Nottingham. I graduate in October. My last waiver on my temporary teaching license expires in June.

I have been told informally that I can apply for the full 5 year teachers license if I add the proof of enrollment documents to my application.

Can anyone confirm this? It makes sense but one never knows...

Thanks and kind regards to all
