you make a good point .... I've come to the conclusion that Thailand is not the place to meet a lady, partner, gf, bf or whatever ... they've been through the mill. Anyone who would even remotely get involved is thinking what can they get outta you. They all have thai bf's or gf's and have probably had several close farangs before. It only stands to reason, with hundreds of tourists staying here year after year and mingling from place to place the chances of meeting an honest, decent and at least slightly educated person are virtually zero imo.
