you cannot just simply buy a SIM card from AIS or DTAC or whoever .... a SIM and mobile number has to be registered either by using a passport or ID card.

a rat may have chewed the wiring under the car or a fuse is blown somewhere that supplies power to that console. you can't just connect straight to the battery because it's a fire hazard, if the wiring happens to short out and become excessively hot it could have potential heat consequences. You need a fuse in the middle to protect the device from any power surge etc ....

my immediate thoughts also .... if your wallet is stolen or a bag or anything with CC's, passport or doc's .... you would call the bank, embassy and whoever straight away, not wait until it's used or a day later. very strange story .... I'm calling it suspicious ...

The idea is so ridiculous it's laughable ..... 4.00am comes ...... The bar manger left hours ago and is home sleeping 4.00am .... the bar staff just wanna get TF outta the place and go home sleep as half of them are p_ssed also. 4.10am .... there is absolutely no way in hell anyone will want to or even know where the breathalyzer unit is as it's gone missing. 4.15am .... doors are being locked and drunks are staggering out onto the footpath looking for a taxi ... If you are drunk and get in your car to drive then you are breaking the law .... it's the drinkers responsibility to get home ..... either by taxi or friend or whatever, it's not the bar staff's responsibility to call your mama.

I find your question rather hypocritical in many ways because you say you don't like Australian type bars but yet you specifically went there and went inside knowing full well it was an Aussie bar. As for your Topic question ..... I find Australian people the same as anyone else, like most nationalities ... at times you meet some really good guys and other times you can meet some not so likeable folks. It can also be the way you come across to other people ..... not everyone's perfect.

nonsense .... Yes Thais do go camping ..... Khao Yai National Park, Koh Adang, Doi Inthanon, Kaeng Krachan National Park .... just to name a few, but there are many more places Thais go camping to.

Can I please explain something to Richard & the OP .... You cannot ' freeze ' someone bank account without a court order requested from a certified judge. You cannot have WU reveal passport details without a court order. The police will not act unless there is a carrot in it for them or a court order. do you understand Thailand ??
