ok, I'm looking into getting Opera going now because I do like Opera privacy & security, I've deleted the cache, I've stopped one fast load extension, and I've tweaked a couple Opera://flags which also help speed it up. It seems now if I hit www.google.com ... Opera takes 2.5 seconds to load it. My Carbon browser takes 2 ....to ... 2.5 seconds so I'm getting Opera better and faster !!

yes ... slightly quicker without the VPN, but I'll always have the VPN on when on the net. right now I'mlooking at my Opera web browser, I do like Opera as once it's loaded the homepage and settled down it's quite fast .... and it's smooth also. I'll keep trying it ... disable extensions although I only have Ublock origin and tweak extension on it, I've chrome://flagged a couple of speed ups also. I know I can get them both fast, but it's just sitting down and doing each one ... haha
