Are you bored with the place or the culture? Huge difference. I have been here for almost a year and I feel kind of sick of Thai culture.

I am looking for a trolley like this:
Any idea where to get this in Bangkok?
-
I found out that my destination is Sungai Kolok.
http://www.travelfish.org/location/thailan...at/sungai_kolok
From the map, I can see that the train station is very near the border. I think it would be best for me to take a train. However, I am not sure where they will keep my cats. My cats are my pets and they are not even pedigree cats worth selling but I love them.

Ooohh... According to real weather data, the world has been cooling for the past 8 years +? It is freezing in the UK at the moment and last November/December, Bangkok was really cool almost everyday. Even my friends in Singapore reported to me that it felt cooler than usual.
-
I need to hire a private car or van to take me and my 4 cats (in 3 medium-sized crates) to the border town nearest to North Malaysia. I am not exactly sure what the name of the town is but I will check it out. Once I am there, I will have someone else pick me up and drive me into Malaysia.
I was wondering if there are any services that go one-way to my destination without having to drive all the way back to Bangkok? Something like how it works in Western countries where you could hire a car and drive to another city and drop it off at your destination without having to drive it back to where you got the car. I am actually looking for a driver because I do not know the way around Thailand and I can't drive.
Any recommendations?

Learnt that yesterday. No guarantee the incompetent Thai police can or will do anything to help me.
They will if you pay them.
I wanted to lay charges against somebody and wanted to make a complaint to the police, my lawyer advised that they would want too much money. I took the view that all the time lawyers offered this sort of advice things would never change, so I issued court proceedings myself.
Do the police openly ask you for money?
-
officially you have no choice-but to use the station in which area the incident happened
Learnt that yesterday. No guarantee the incompetent Thai police can or will do anything to help me.

I recently moved to a new apartment. When I went back to the old apartment to try to get my mail, I was shocked to find out that they had returned all my mail to the postman. I asked the security guy where should I go to collect my mail and he said "moo nie jai", which is as good as I don't know.
Any idea how I could get my mail? I am expecting some important letters.

Thanks everyone. I shall go to Lumpini station first and see what they say. If that does not work, I shall go to the Thong Lor station.

I heard that not all police stations in Bangkok will be willing to help non-Thais. Is there a particular police station that is more likely to help non-Thais when we run into some kind of dispute or trouble here in Bangkok?
-
She's right, take her to court. Most likely just taking the matter up with police and courts will see her to change her mind. Claim all 40k back as normal wear and tear should not be taken from the money.
Or make sure the 40K will be well spend on restoring the house...
Reporting to the police should be easy. How about taking the landlord to court? How do you do that?
-
I am now in a lousy situation. The only consolation is my landlord owes me about 9500 THB. He is making a mountain out of a mole hill with 2 normal wear and tear damages in his room. He is also trying to charge me 1000 - 3500 THB for a damaged chair that was damaged when I moved in. I cannot argue about the chair because I should have returned it to him from day 1. I have to wait 4 more days before I can file a police report against him.
Question: Will the police listen to complaints like that from a non-Thai and take it seriously?
Question: If the police trick didn't work, what else can I do?

I would like to repair my own earphones. The wire is loose near the jack and I found a tutorial that shows me how to fix it here:

Any idea where I could get a replacement jack in Bangkok?

There is this Veggie burger set meal at this Western fast food restaurant on the 7th floor of Central World, right next to the Central Food Hall supermarket. I forgot how it costs and what the name of the restaurant was.

How about this Patrick's tailors? I saw it on a free Bangkok map.

I have a True Wifi account that I use when I am not at home. I like it for the most part but it disconnects every 90 minutes. I have to restart my network adaptor to reconnect to True Wifi almost every time. Sometimes I do not need to restart my network adaptor. Overall, it takes about 5 mintues to reconnect to True Wifi.
Do you guys have any workaround for this annoying thing?
-
Thanks for the reviews. I will pay for a romantic night with a dinner cruise organized by the hotels you guys recommended. I saw a couple of dinner cruise ads on some free Bangkok maps and they felt fishy to me.
-
I am thinking of taking a lady for a dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya river. Any recommendations? How much does it usually cost for 2 persons?

Check out:
http://www.mindresortpattaya.com/facilitiesandservices.php
It seems like there is free wifi internet if you bring your own laptop. It is best to contact them to find out. I wanna talk to their manager to find out more. My plan is to spend 1 week over there to recharge and map out a plan for my business and life for the next year.

I need a room for myself and private outdoor jacuzzi. I can't see myself renting a villa because that would cost too much. I don't want an indoor jacuzzi cos I want to catch some rays.
I found 2 hotels at Pattaya:
1. Mind Resort - http://www.asiarooms.com/thailand/pattaya/mind_resort.html
Overall good reviews. The prices on their web site seems cheaper even after including the 150 THB breakfast. I think the optional 150 THB breakfast is a good thing in case I get sick of it. Their customer service seems very stupid because I asked for better photos of their jacuzzi but they weren't able to email me the photos. I will try to contact their manager cos I don't see a clear picture of how it looks like.
2. Royal Orchid Pattaya...
A few bad reviews on AsiaRooms.com. Their official site has spyware and it has been marked by Firefox as a dangerous site. Lucky I had AVG antivirus on when I was surfing that site.
Any more ideas?

I am looking for recommendations for a Thai beach resort that offers rooms with a personal outdoor jacuzzi. I like to get tanned (almost naked) in privacy and in water because I don't like the heat of the sun very much. Oh yes, I prefer a beach as close to Bangkok as possible so that I don't need to travel so much. The beach does not have to be very nice because I plan to spend most of my time in my personal jacuzzi.
Any idea when the high and low season is?
Any recommendations?

I need to get a 12 V 5 A power adaptor for a network storage device. I need an adaptor that can power up my networking device and 2 hard drives that will be running in it.
Any idea where I could get it?

I still like Thailand but I enjoy it more when I was a tourist. What I plan to do is to try to visit Thailand like once or more a year. There are still some places I wish to go but haven't.
