The Thai Red Cross Society is inviting members of the public to donate blood during the Songkran holidays at the National Blood Center in Bangkok.
Unless you're British or lived in the UK 1980-1996, then sadly you are not eligible.

Anyone else see the flaw in asking someone where they travelled from an getting an honest reply ?
Surely an honest reply will mean less tourists. They don't want that.

"Phuket officials have set a target of zero fatalities on Phuket’s roads during the Seven Days of Danger road-safety campaign this Songkran holiday, to be enforced from April 10-16."
Didn't they claim zero fatalities last year too, but only after fiddling the figures.

I had the same fortune regarding pillow talk. I used to go out with a girl from Cambridge who got in at Oxford.
She went to New College, so-named because when it was completed in 1386 it was the newest college in Oxford. Typical British understatement.-
