I wonder if the Facebook page is going to include live tracking data. You know so the rest of the navy can find them when they go missing and the enemy can target them effectively.
Cheers
Surely all they need is the mobile number of the U-Boat commander and his facebook page.
They'll know everything within seconds, including what he had for lunch with a photo of it.

Social media kills another one. He isn't the first and he won't be the last. The irony is that these images will not be around in 50 years time, as paper photographs were. They are as fleeting as life itself.
'selfies, the curse of the modern world.' Agreed.
It seems to me it's important for people to have a photo of themselves standing in front of something.
They've not interested to the 'background' at all. It's pure vanity, to be able to say 'look at me at a particular place'. They need to show off to people that I've been there.
Nearly forty years ago I went on a holiday to China.
There was a boat trip along a river. There were a lot of spectacular mountains along the way. I took photos of them.
There was a group of Japanese tourists also on the boat. All they wanted was to have a photo of themselves on the boat, in front of the mountains - blocking them out basically.
I remember taking a photo of the Japanese tour guide, taking a photo of the tourists in front of the mountains, it seemed so silly to me.

That doesn't surprise me, after all wasn't Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus nominated by various African states, but more influentially also by China.
The phrase 'don't bite the hand that feeds you' springs to my mind.

The subs will be used on the borders to stop the Burmese walking over
Surely that will just assist the Burmese, as they could use the sub as a stepping point when they cross the river.

IIRC didn't the Thai Navy buy the aircraft carrier second hand from the Canadian Navy?
No, it was ordered new and constructed in Spain for the Thai Navy. A complete waste of time and money, but it was new.
Thanks for correcting me.
Can you tell me if there was an-Canadian ship bought by the Thai Navy?
I must be getting confused - as well as old.

I'm sure they'll be out of their depth straight away. They'll never be able to fathom it out, just end up six feet under.

Her name is Ting. Don't know why she has not be snuffled up. I think she is a little shy around mature men.
Mrs Owl has taken to looking at my pics I take for the thread. So I have to be careful.
If you add these to your collection I think you'll be safe:

I was chatting to this woman and she told me her nickname was ‘Vivaldi’.
"Is that because you're a brilliant violin player?" I asked.
"No," she replied. "It's because my name's Viv and I work at Aldi.".
I was expecting it to be hair on a G string.

It's a small step from looking at the pictures to reading the text. I expect Mrs Owl is contemplating joining Thai Visa right now. What do you think will be her name and avatar Owl. By the way, I would appreciate a drone pic of that solar cell place
I think the user name 'Hoots Mon' would be appropriate.
As for the avatar, judging from Owl's posts - what kind of creature could give a withering look and strike terror at 200 metres?

Quite droll that Bluesofa.
Of course I wouldn't dream of counting her rings. I'm only interested in one ring. And as far as I know she has not had a ring on her finger; that's the main thing.
I'll pop into her shop on Monday. Should not really ask a ladies age, but I might. I'm sure she will confirm she's 29. When you have the experiences I've had with the ladies, it is not difficult to guess their ages.
It's a very old joke I dug up specially.
Surely a woman confirming they're 29 puts them at 35+?
If you were to chat her up more deviously, perhaps you could get to look at her ID card and hence DOB?

The 7/11 girl has left the shop. I've not asked anyone why. She was the only one who spoke English; limited. TBH she was a little young for my taste. The hat lady is about 29; that's just right.
Vaccine!? You want me to have another sabbatical Faraday? How dare you tempt me to comment!?
Ha ha ha! - 'about 29' perhaps '29 and three-quarters' - shades of Adrian Mole.
How did you reach that conclusion, you didn't cut her head off and count the rings, did you?
