If your fit, healthy with no underlaying conditions 99.5% you would be fine even if catching cv19...
Not interested in being a lab rat, already gained natural immunity through catching it, quarantined and now getting on with life.

in the UK within the last year 130k died of covid, yearly road deaths are only 2800.
so covid is over 40x higher risk.
in the UK 4.5mln became infected, many of them hospitalised, some of them for months and on ventilation.
Some of them, tens of thousands, are suffering long term effects of illness. As many and as bad as road accident survivors in thailand.
Thailand covid situation might be as bad over time, as in the other countries, when the uk, brasilian, south african strains do arrive sometimes and astrazeneca delivery would be delayed, ineffective for those strains or faulty (poor quality).
Actually they officially died With not Of, gov has been very careful with wording for a reason. Only last week they admitted at least 23% had no link to Covid in their deaths at all but were falsely added in. Also, not one person is recorded of dying from influenza in the past year in the UK, which of course is a statistical impossibility so its likely to to be even more mis reported covid deaths attributed. Hospitalisations did not get to the point of one special unit (nightingale ) being used or needed. Ventilators and the use of was also quickly identified as being the wrong treatment and as since been revised . But yes many less are killed on the roads in the UK but still far more die of cancer and heart disease or any the other top 10 reasons. In fact the UK past years total deaths even with covid is actually "below" the 5 year average. Amazing huh ? You can find that data at public health England.
Long term effects is still unknown as is much of the data and long term useful or effectiveness with any of the vaccines since the trails ARE the rollout. "strains" are in fact just mutations of the same original, which btw they have never isolated or been allowed to investigate or have data of by China where it indisputably originated, and yes that is a real problem with any new virus not having the original or isolated it. Variants will increase over time and this is a natural cycle of any virus as it disperses into the global population not something to be overly feared.
Its a terrible thing to live in fear and imo totally unnecessary. Yes its a thing, yes it can kill but we also live with every disease known and every strain throughout history today, we will simply add this to the list and get on with life, vaccines will not stop the pandemic imo only herd immunity and mutation to the point of it becoming as harmless to 99.9% of us as all the rest of the Rhino/Covid variations floating about out there.
People will always die of something. Being a Buddhist myself Its not a concern to me how.

thai citizens have free tests, hospitalisation, medication, but that would be problematic to foreigners, so lower prospects for a fast and efficient help.
some insurance policies won't cover quarantine.
some people don't have any insurance, for example those over certain age are not taken by insurers or premiums are prohibitive, and many hundred thousands baht
I am well aware the risk and challenges of living anywhere in the 3rd or emerging world economy is what it is
Its still 99% overall survival rate chance, thats pretty good odds..... better than driving on the roads or stroke or cancer or in fact any of the top 10 causes of death, as for not having insurance and or illness, there is less risk of being hospitalised from c19 than having a stroke if over 75 or getting into serious a driving accident. Both of which costs are substantial when paying as Johnny foreigner. Dont know many over 75 who are insured, life as they say is a risk.
In fact the survival rate of c19 is very good even at advanced age. Get busy living the dream, tomorrow may never come.

A mans man...wasnt afraid to speak his mind and have a jest and a wicked sense of humour coupled with a real sense of duty... not for snowflakes of course, those easily offended or without a sense of humour will no doubt whine about the few lines hes ridiculed for without even being aware of all the good the man has done over the past 80+ years in service to queen and country... respect Sir
You did a great job and you can now rest well.

Ridiculous.

You dont and cant control a pandemic, only adapt to and weather it.. idiot
-
Cant avoid a pandemic, only adapt and live through then as it subsides and mutates those left will live with it ...We still live with all the various and previous pandemic strains throughout history today they all burned out and mutated to less dangerous versions and this one will be just the same and burn out in time. These vaccines that are based on older strains stay behind the curve of mutations all the time.
They are already admitting vaccines will need never ending tweaks but really its only mass natural herd immunity and antibodies in the majority as strains mutate to less dangerous that will end it and nothing else. Get on with your life best as possible

On the BBC Scotland section theres a good breakdown of the questions NS must answer to the Holyrood Enquiry.
If the conclusion or answer is probably or Yes to any one of them NS should be utterly finished in Scottish politics by next month and the SNP should not waste any more time on her and throw her under the bus without hesitation....
Read them and tell me you can from what we know and truthfully, say no to all of them.. bet you cant but I bet NS will.
If you thought this wasnt monumental and a massive issue every Scottish Newspaper is running on the front page storys on it about calls for her to resign and on the Brink etc... not saying i care for rags because I dont but not one is ignoring this issue now in the Scottish media, they cant and thats nothing but bad for NS and the SNP image thats for sure.

30 minutes ago, RuamRudy said:Personally, I cannot argue with any of that. There are a lot of angry independence supporters out there, dismayed at what they are seeing. Whether it turns them against the SNP remains to be seen, but I think they will weather it. There is no other credible vehicle to independence so, for many, better holding your nose and voting SNP. Once we are independent we can sort out our political institutions and dispel with the villains of the piece.
Im sure that will be NS prime directive and game plan , to ignore, bluster, silence questions and continue on trying to keep her seat of power as head. Problem is its not the party or its message but the leadership that is what I see as the problem.
IF there is no other answer to the leadership than a corrupt and if i may say, apparently a very vindictive and dishonest one too where does that leave the SNP other than with a major issue of trust and dis/honesty ? do you really think most Scots dont care about that ? Most I know most certainly do... Scottish pride isnt a small thing in my experience... the price might for many nationalists be acceptable but for the majority ? I think thats not so certain.
You must realise Westminster will make the most of this and the longer its left to fester the more it will have an impact. I can only get worse for the SNP should they delay or dither from being seen to do the right thing and move on from a clearly flawed and unwillingly accountable leader. This is not a good look and the SNP will only lose from not dealing with it ASAP and transparently too.
Clean house and get busy with it immediately I suggest would be best, delay and attempt to cover this and I fear it will all collapse in a utter mess. Then Scotland can kiss any chance of leaving goodbye. Attempting to patch things and muscle through on a message of, independence is more important than honesty and integrity is I think in this current age a HUGE mistake. Support can vanish as fast as its rise, just ask Labour ????
It must be another to take leadership and the SNP forward not NS or it could utterly destroy all the party has strived for, I think its that simple.
Is NS bigger or more important than the partys credibility ? than Scotland ? Than anything ? Are the majority Scots really that shallow and willing to reward dishonesty at the highest level, follow, forgive whats looking like a clear liar and one discredited ? Personally I think not.

Said last year when and if the Alex issue was brought into the light things would get very interesting fast and open a well earned and corrupted can of worms...
Lets be honest and frank. Someone has been telling big porkys and everything they are going to try and wriggle out of will make them look even less credible. Its not Alex, now hes been tried, vindicated and still having attempts to gag him from speaking you cant blame the guy for now fighting back, if anything he's to be commended for putting Scotland before the politics..
In short it seems The queen of Scots has tried to politically murder their mentor in the dark for reasons best known only to them. With very weak evidence a smear campaign colleagues have engaged in possibly dodgy deals, deeds that border on a leadership conspiracy to silence, Brought the Scottish judicial into disrepute on the way and still miserably failed.
They in turn now have to face the music, possibly and I think in time likely face the chopping block and only have themselves to blame...
This has nothing to do with another referendum,, it is all about the SNP leadership and how its handled itself, how can you handle a nations possible move to independence if you cant even be trusted as a leader . The funniest part is the timing is all Scotlands and SNP making
Tick Tock Tick Tock....
Dont deflect or try to blame Westminster for any of this... its 100% a Scottish scandal, the biggest its had in decades, certainly since devolution and entirely an SNP one too.. cant say im surprised mind you... politicians are mostly all dodgy as heck with plenty of skeletons, whatever the party or nation... the SNP is clearly no better about lying and abusing power it seems than any other. Maybe worse and just more amateur at it... whod have known ?

YES, and I am not alone in saying this given the 2.5 million deaths from Covid that we know about, which because of non reporting by several large population countries around the world could very easily be two or three times that number.
Respectfully if you are a denier or nay sayer of these published truths I pity you for your ignorance.
Respectfully oou sound a little over dramatic to me.
imo its over exaggerated not under and cases are hugely inaccurate.. eg; In UK anyone dying within 28 days of a positive test is logged down as a covid death regardless of how they die.. even if they fall out a window. Numbers dying of influenza or other rhino/covid strains the past year has gone to virtually zero... numbers dying overall in the past year has not increased but mostly the same over 12 mths period in most countries... some laces have seen a jump but nothing big plus regions expected to have exploded have not .. Africa A America. Central Asia, none of the data is backing up the wild claims.
Do the research on the data. its out there if you bother to look.

What brand of vaccine to take
in COVID-19 Coronavirus

The number is based on that 50% wont ever know they ever had it, its that dangerous ???? not my estimate but the WHO and its asymptomatic spreading clap trap modelling so i use it happily. Global population wise based on 7 billion its going to end up being a lot closer 99.9% non lethal rate and that would still be with a massive death toll figure of 7 million
Actually there are currently at least 10,000 estimated variants which will continue to increase exponentially as thats what viruses MUST do, mutate and spread... pretty soon the entire globe will become infected and it'll come back over and over and yknow what ? the jabs will always be behind the curve because of that. Youll have to get best guess jabs as mutations spread like the flue jab every year or less for the rest of your life and still not be safe, maybe a version in the future will mutate than is viral resistant and kills 99%. enjoy that worry. Or maybe itll go the way of every other pandemic and simply fade out with herd immunity like all other cov/rhino viruses in the past.
People like me ? ohhh you mean someone who dosnt think the way you do... gotcha ????
No we arnt all in it together, there are those who want to be scared and pretend this is something worth freaking out about thx to the media hype and those that dont...for me it wasnt before and hasnt been since, ive had far worse colds and is not a concern when compared to other conditions or disease risks... I also mountain climb, ride bikes, Dive and do all manner of dangerous things, eat what i want and even drink and enjoy the odd cigar...
We could also get hit by a global disaster tomorrow, develop cancer, drop dead or be killed in some manner or catch some other deadly disease, WW3 etc ... so naaa im not wasting my life worrying about something ive actually had that for healthy people is no big deal at all..
Stay worried and safe. ill get on with my day. ????
