Much of Europe contracted by 15% or more is simply not true, no matter how you try to twist it.
So yes, you were grossly exaggerating.
Just go read the actual document if you can be bothered, it lays out the numbers and youll see some major members exceed 15% but whatever, you stick with the BBC for your facts and stay uninformed. it bothers me not one jot.

Sorry, lost you after the gross exaggeration in your first line, https://www.bbc.com/news/business-53606101
Really ? Instead of linking media pages read the reports these media companies lift convenient snippets from... lets look properly shall we at what Eurostat actually says.
The latest Eurostat numbers show that during the second quarter of 2020, that’s over April May and June, Eurozone Gross Domestic Product (GDP) fell by 12.1% and the wider EU economy shrank by 11.9%. And when compared to the same period a year ago.
Eurostat says: seasonally adjusted GDP decreased by 15.0% in the euro area and by 14.4% in the EU in the second quarter of 2020, after -3.1% and -2.5% respectively in the previous quarter.
Id link but im not doing your work for you, if you can be bothered its easy to find and read but i doubt you are.
So you see I wasnt exaggerating at all. Your apology is taken and accepted...

Sweden's controversial anti-lockdown strategy resulted in a high death toll and no real economic gain, data shows
But don't let facts get in the way...
Did Swedens economy contract by 15% or more as much of Europe then and have businesses closed down at the same rate as those nations under shut down ? No it hasnt... death rates are unimportant its still way under 0.5% if contracted, its age and other health issues thats the main death factor... countries strategy cant really be compared for many reasons, its just life and btw an article online dosnt make a fact, and even facts are dependent on interpretation and presentation economic models and words can make things look very different with the same figures presented in different ways.. official gov stats and facts are not reliable It depends on how the death rates are counted and what constitutes a covid death also varies in statistics country to country...you may as well compare apples to oranges ...
Id also bet Thailand will have more road related deaths annually .. yet theres no will to do anything about that... its medical hysterics nothing more.

And there we are, flip flop once again. Nothing but the official narrative will be tolerated... no matter they keep changing what that is. What are they scared of ? oh yea people making their own minds up, being an individual and getting on with life despite the hurdles, now we are supposed to run away and hide on command.. Sad but true.
Just to keep things in perspective, about 100 million net are added to human population annually 60m so far this year, despite the virus ... its NOT a big deal .. even if 1 million die its STILL not as much as kill TB, Malaria or Dengue annually or a bad flu season.. get a grip the world is sliding into hysterical chaos all around the globe and most have bought into the fear porn. it would be laughable a few years ago this would be tolerated by people but now it seems people are begging for totalitarianism, please destroy peoples livlihoods just shut it all down.. RUN and HIDE, lose everything and do as your told like a good little drone like the gov says, for nothing but a virus with a kill rate of less than 0.5%... talk about being weak minded and easily lead. Pathetic.
When it all goes into a tailspin and continues to get more crazy and worsen remember who put up with and helped it happen. Because for some reason people are like scared rabbits these days...

I can't help thinking 40% NPL must be a typo ....... nearly half the loans in a country in default can't possibly happen .... can it?
Given the word unprecedented is being used almost weekly around the world atm, just because a loan default of such a magnitude has never happened before dosnt mean it cant.
2021 is going to bring the pain of reality that is being hidden atm by loan holidays. Thailand isnt likely to be the only one exposed to large amounts of NPL either...
Interesting times ahead.

China's still-largely-state-controlled corporate sector has enough exposure to the difficulty of survival in the ultra-competitive, heavily scrutinized, anti-trust swamped world of big tech that the top management of Bytedance know that this kind of pressure is simply untenable and it didint take much more than a shove from Trump to get a move on for China to blink and fold its chips in on this round.
China’s ByteDance has agreed to divest the U.S. operations of TikTok completely in a bid to save a deal with the White House, after President Donald Trump said on Friday he had decided to ban the popular short-video apphttps://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-tiktok-bytedance-exclusive/exclusive-bytedance-offers-to-forgo-stake-in-tiktok-to-clinch-u-s-deal-sources-idUSKBN24X3SK

People dont look further than.. Trump says ..... tik tok isnt what it seems, nor is Hwawie or a good number of other Chinese state backed and infiltrated global businesses..China with absolutely zero enemies has nevertheless been building is modern military up for decades, it is reaching the peak of its power it will be allowed to get without conflict with other powers
Xi has with his stunning mismanagement and impatience woken the world up to China's expansionist plan, ts growing aggressive stance and threats globally.... it took Hitler 7 years to upset the world enough to finally do something. The Anglophere, Japan, India and now looks like Russia and many other nations are increasingly taking economic and military steps regarding China.
The war already began years ago way before Orange man bad came along. Its just people havnt been paying attention. Well the world is paying attention fast now its shut down and crippled everyone's lives, for a virus that kills less than TB or Malaria or Dengue and a host of other nasty things we live with....
Wake up and get past the Trump derangement syndrome people. Trump or Biden or whoever wins will just continue the new global policy towards China whom is at war with the world and has been for years.

Stonehenge is marvellous. Had and took the opportunity to sleep among the stones a good few times back in the late 70s as a teenager and stonehenge festival was legendary and great fun for a while though like most things festival, became too popular and the state got all anal about things. So glad i was born when i was and not now.
Cant get within 20 ft now and have to pay stupid money to just look from afar, ... id make it free for all British and just charge tourists.

Bike on the left in front of car shoots him, theres a clear muzzle flash then the target bike wobbles slightly for a few meters before a body falls off and dosnt move again ( possibly the pillion ? ) whilst the bike goes off into the central reservation... The only thing im not sure of is if there was another on the bike than went with it into the central reservation ( poss rider ).... Either way both bodies didnt move again which is unusual and there was definitely a muzzle flash from the bike on the left just before . The bike was doing approx 50kmh on a clear road in good weather at night with good lights. People dont just fall off bikes dead. If it was a hit that killed 2 it must have been a powerful gun and a good shot.
BTW the main witnesses name was released and made known to the public only a few days ago once the charges were dropped.

I like when cheaters get caught, almost as much as listening to moaning on about how unfair some new way of catching cheaters is.
I'm happy they know who's riding the train.
Dont be soft in the head, its nothing to do with cheating just tracking people using a cost caving card. You dont need an MRT card or ID to buy a regular ticket and they dont know who those are so dont feel too safe there lol
You didnt think before you posted did you ?

Useless New York not making any impulse waves. Neither up nor down.
Useless.
Thats good. A strong base has formed at 1796 with a moderate one at 1840 and a weak one at 1920. Gold needs to consolidate for a period above 1920 to form a better and stronger baseline.
At somepoint the cracks in markets and fragility of the financial and economic systems will reemerge then things will start to crash again, gold along with everything else. Im not sure of the timing but ive a feeling it could well be pre US election time, possibly Mid to late Sept. If not then not long after as its all unsustainable without continued further liquidity injections, its only a matter of time.
As a response the fed along with other central banks are going to reopen the QE floodgates and add liquidity like never before. Then gold silver etc will be off to the races.

It is virtually certain it will pass 2000 as London and NY are still to come.
I will not be surprised if Gold goes beyond 2000, however, as the psychological 2000 barrier approaches some shorting may happen.
To say gold is bullish right now is the understatement of the year.
That's only short term though. Gold, a no-income producing asset is ideal for zero interest environments. However as inflation rises and interest rates go up Gold will lose value. Like all bubbles, this one will end too.
Gold as a no income producing asset is 33% up so far this year, it needs to consolidate for a while imo probably bounce around the 2k mark before it either overshoots or pulls back, I hope it pulls back. Silver is on fire too atm, 100% + gains from the lows this year so far and bitcoin just passed 11.5k .. all this QE has to go somewhere.
Far as interest rates rising I just dont see it for the foreseeable future, the more they stimulate the harder it will become. The global economic system is awash with liquidity and its hard to see any gov taking the pain of a collapse willingly, so they will print more, more, more..
Much further for the bull to run yet would be my guess the next few years.

Having lived through the last 2 in Thailand I can say with certainty, sadly there is not a chance in hell of that ever happening.
the only change thats ever going to come will be the usual from one military faction to another... Democracy has never been a thing in Thailand.

Triumph Motorcycles are laying people off Triumph bras arnt, thats all it needed to say.
This article has way too much padding and not enough substance, as is often the case with the bra wearers in Thailand.
