  1. I saved my mia-noi from the demons of pattaya, she now lives happily with family in isaan, the family welcomed me, I explained my situation, #1 thai wife in australia,I visit #2 as much as I can,it's all good. albeit a bit of a balancing act, ah where's that lotto win.

    regards songhklasid.

  2. When & where & who are the blue shirts, they appeared out of nowhere to stir the trouble @ pattaya, Thaksin paid thugs? The only good thing out of it there might be some splendid deals done wiyh the young ladies if you are lucky enough to be in country @ the moment.

  3. My wife is mad keen on purchasing a new step-thru, although we dont exactly need 1 @ this point in time(not retired & living in L.O.S. just yet) she is paying a good portion of it so it looks like it's on. The traditional honda 90 step-thru with basket, so we both can use it was my idea, or is yamaha a better option, do you have to run engine in ? can I buy manual in english so I can maintain it.

    open to ideas & suggestions.

    kind regards songkhlasid.

  4. The roof vents common in aust are colourbond steel "whirlybird " type , they spin freely with the breeze, & suck out the hot air thru ceiling vents in the room ceiling as we all know hot air rises.I think together with large eaves, tinted windows, concrte& tiles, roof insulation, you should get a cooler house with or without air-con. Is their a home mart in C.M. I take it thats a hardware place, good I also need big rubber mats for the bathroom tile floor, before someone breaks a bone, SLIPPERY.

    regards songkhlasid,

feel free to comment, I,m all ear's.

  5. Personally I prefer the free seating, you see the thais scramble to get a seat @ front of the plane,I probably get on next to very last, & enjoy a row of seats to myself ( air asia) what annoys me is the size of the hand luggage, I 've seen bags the size of my month's worth of travelling as onboard carry on,& little asian manhandling same , if I try it I'm up for excess weight. Anyway T.I.T.

  6. Sorry I asked the same question last year, but cant't find it in the files, I want to take my thai mai-noi from ubon to pakse in laos for 3-4 days visit, she only has i.d.card. I beleive there's a bus from ubon right to chong mek. can anyone recommend accom near national park/ waterfalls outside pakse.

thanking you in advance. (probably late july trip)

    best regards songhklasid.
