Thanks for the advise, I am looking at the 760 on line here in the UK and can get it for £140 with a free case, its a Garmin refurbished one with 2010 pre loaded maps etc, looks like a good unit and a good price as well.
What size SD card would you recommend for downloading the Thailand map to? is 4gb big enough!
Thanks very much for your advise.

Has anyone got or used a Garmin Nuvi 660 or 760? and would they be suitable for the Thailand map, presumably I would have to download it to the SD card?
Any of your user experiences would be gratefully received.
Many thanks

Fund Transfer To Thailand From The Uk

Hi Guys,I know this has been discussed before but I can't seem to find the thread!
Can anyone tell me what the limit is for transfering funds from the Uk to Thailand without the Thai bank witholding part of it for 12 months?
In our case will will transfer from the Halifax to Bangkok Bank in Thailand.
Thanks very much, and has anyone else heard about the Thai Baht getting a lot stronger against the US Dollar, and do you think this is likely to have a knock on effect on the Pound/Baht exchange rate?
Thanks
