I said in a earlier post you cannot have a hue and cry over someone who pays a sack full of money and breaks the rules and someone who pays 1900 Baht and breaks the rules when there are shouts of get rid etc.

I thought the cut off date was 31 Dec 2018.

I agree - if you are not time restricted just head south and when tired or bored just stop at a hotel. Sticking to times etc is not a good idea. Do you have GPS?

That is true - I was correcting the poster that said for embassy letter you needed to show 800,000 baht or more. That is not correct.

The embassy proof of income is Baht 65,000 per month - not 800,000 Baht

That is what the TSB say? This problem has been going on for a long time now.

They do not need any 'assistance' - they meet all the requirements.

Medical insurance might be the biggest problem.

I would check that your insurance would still be valid.
