    They forgot to drop the USD swap line in place with the Thai central bank where the bank can buy or sell USD at will to defend the baht. If it wasn't for this, the baht would have fallen off a cliff a long time ago. The baht is a heavily controlled currency and in no way represents the free market.

    Obviously Thailand is not a democratic country. The obvious will of the people is being tossed aside again. And isn't the prior military takeover of the government treason? And nothing has happened to the military to date.

    The surge in covid cases coincides with the surge in tourists. When I get a vaccine for Hep A, I don't expect to get Hep A. Covid is mutating so any vaccine is essentially useless. I call it hope for the masses.

    The baht is a controlled currency, in other words, you cannot buy or sell large amounts. Interest rates in Thailand are peanuts whereas they are around 5% in the US. Thailand isn't the US. Thai central bank must have a USD swap line in place that allows them to sell USD and buy baht at will thus supporting the baht. If it wasn't for the swap line, the baht would fall off a cliff.

    My friend and his wife and many of his workers caught covid a week ago. I will always wear a mask inside for covid and outside because the air is always toxic with aqi well above 100 most of the time.

    Sell all vehicles, get your stuff out, change your will, burn the house to the ground and go back to your home country permanently. Otherwise, the lawyers will take what you have left and you will have to sleep with your eyes open. Men are such suckers.

    Climate emergency is the main reason electric bills are soaring and it will get a lot worse as long as the world keeps burning fossil fuels. Politicians love to brainwash it's citizens.
