Certainly Mordaunt looks like being the next choice for PM before the GE. Question is, will the Conservatives risk being even more of a laughing stock with yet another leadership change so soon?

Pattaya is a party town with hoards of attractive girls, boys and Kathoeys vying for your attention. Of course it is a draw for many single men (and women) who are looking for that hedonistic experience. It does it very well and inevitably drugs are freely available to enhance your pleasure. Occasionally there will be those who over indulge but no more than other places with similar facilities. Because Pattaya has good, easily accessible media coverage, reports from there tend to get a lot more exposure. The Thai authorities always seem to try to sell Pattaya as a family holiday destination which causes some amusement to farangs. The Thai people however do see it as that and there are plenty of Thai families from Bangkok and other places who choose to holiday there. Their priorities are somewhat different to foreigners and you are unlikely to see them sightseeing on walking street. More likely in the hotels in Jomtien. There are plenty of ex-pats living in Pattaya with their partners and often children too. It's a place to embrace or not and nobody is forcing anyone to settle there.

I think you will find the families will cover any costs involved. The father and son are quite local to us. They live in a mansion in Surbiton and the father was a billionaire and one of the richest men in Pakistan.

Actually JRM was in the house for the debate and vote. He even had a go (stupidly) at Harriet Harman over their handling of the committee findings There were cries of "shame" from a few MPs on the Tory benches but Harman said she would respond. And respond she did, leaving Mogg lost for words and the other MPs shouting "that is what you call a mic drop" amidst much laughter

And there you have it Only 7 voted against last night with MP's in the house shouting "Who are you!". I think we can guess who the 7 were but at least they actually voted whilst 225 of the other sniveling rats abstained. Cowards everyone of them. But maybe the biggest coward has to be the Prime Minister. He didn't turn up at all. I just hope that the constituents of the 225 MPs that abstained take a moment to reflect on whether these cowards are representing them or just dodging any responsibility. In the meantime the Conservative Party continues to self destruct while Starmer seems incapable of capitalising on the situation. I don't think that politics has ever been as depressing or pathetic as it is today.

I think the release of this video is no coincidence. Clearly the timing has been orchestrated to highlight the breach of rules and total disregard the then government (or some of them) had for their own lockdown laws. More bad news for those still trying desperately, against all the odds, trying to stand by their fallen hero Boris Johnson. Interesting to note some of his former chums now choosing to abstain with their vote in the house today. More cowardly actions from the spineless bottom feeders. I don't know if Sunak is going to be in the house for the vote or "doing a Johnson" and hiding in a fridge somewhere. Time will tell. The interview with Gove on Sunday says it all really. He admitted that the report was correct and that Johnson had lied repeatedly to the house and the people but would be abstaining anyway because he felt the 90 days suspension wasn't "fair". What a sniveling rat that man is. Johnson had already done a runner to avoid the suspension!

Well we must listen to different news sources because Ed Davey has said they would seek to re-join the EU and I never said that Starmer did say that Labour would re-join. And although Starmer has said that that he wouldn't, when push comes to shove and public opinion shifts he will go with the popular view. He is a politician and they all spin on a sixpence when they are currying favour. But leaving the EU is not like going to the dentist where you have no choice and you just have to "get on with it!" This toothache can be fixed quite painlessly.

Barnier announced in an interview only a week or so ago that Britain would be welcome back in the EU anytime. Clearly the EU is stronger with the UK in it and the UK is stronger in the EU. The "in denial" brigade are still strong though and the politicians are desperately (and understandably) trying to avoid the inevitable u-turn needed.

Lib dems and Green party would re-join. Starmer is back tracking and gone very quiet about their position and will go with public opinion when push comes to push. Sunak is sticking to the party line because their credibility is so weak he fears a u-turn at this stage would cause a Tory revolt. When pushed about a coalition between Labour and Lib Dems, both sides are saying that they are looking for an outright win. However both have said a coalition is possible and Ed Davey has said if that is the case then re-joining the EU would definitely be on the cards. It will happen sooner or later. There has been a massive swing in all the polls and most people accept now that Brexit was a complete cock up and based on lies. I note that you now say "for better or worse" so it appears that even you seem to admit that it wasn't the golden opportunity it was being sold as. So do we live with it being worse or change it? People seem to be heading towards the latter.

But there aren't any rewards and never could be. Brexit promises were a series of lies and exaggerations that could never be realised. But more people believed the lies and therefore Brexit won the vote. So the politicians can keep flogging a dead horse to try to save face but it won't do any good. Immigration is way up, both legal and illegal, the NHS is on it's knees (remember the bus?) Dover is grid locked most of the time with twelve hour queues, the price of food is through the roof, inflation is off the scale and interest rates are rapidly heading for Armageddon. Oh and let's not forget that the EU laws we abided by before Brexit are all still firmly in place. The only way that the Conservatives can survive the next election is to clear out all the nodding dogs, admit publicly that Brexit was a massive mistake and start negotiating a way back in. The EU have said we are welcome back any time. If Sunak doesn't step then they are probably done for and none of us want to end up with Starmer in Downing Street.

Dorries now demanding to see Whats Apps and emails pertaining to HOLAC before deciding whether to resign or not! The woman is completely nuts and needs the men in white coats to go and get her. The embarrassment level is off of the scale. In the meantime the partygate report is published and as predicted, Johnson pronounced guilty on all counts.

Something else you won't read in the Daily Fail. Jonson was told as long ago as February that Dorries had been rejected for a peerage. That has come from senior government sources.

I wouldn't give a lot of credence to anything posted by The Daily Mail. Then again I wouldn't believe anything that the delusional Nadine says either.

It looks as if Sunak is starting to kick back and has openly said that he rejected Johnsons plea to overrule HOLAC to force through the former PM's selection of ne'er-do-wells. He followed that with saying that if people didn't like that then tough! It got him a round of applause from the audience in the room, but the moment was a glimmer of hope for the Conservative Party. If he can follow this with getting rid of the rest of the dross and dumping the stupid policies put in place by Johnson and Truss and actually take charge of the party then maybe, just maybe, he might be able to salvage something from this unholy mess.

Slowly but surely the dross are being kicked out or are moving on. But the Conservatives are still going to struggle to find any credibility while they have a weak ineffective PM and charlatans and inadequates at the top table. However if they now change the PM again before the general election then they may as well just pack up and move out forever. I do think that Sunak has calmed the waters somewhat, but unless he clears out all the dross then the Tories are unlikely to survive as the government for much longer. So dump this stupid and illegal immigration plan, admit that Brexit was a dreadful mistake and pledge to reverse as much of it as you can. It was never going to work because it was based on lies.

In the end he couldn't wriggle his way out of any more of his lies. he was told that he was going to be suspended for lying to MPs in the house and that would trigger a by-election that he would lose. That was the conclusion of the report. He then writes a three page resignation letter blaming every else apart from himself. So he has now left in a cowardly manner. He could have stayed and fought but knew that nobody was buying his bull any more.

That is true, as is the case with most of the bargirls working in Thailand. My wife has two nieces who work in South Korea in a rather dubious massage parlour. I am a little surprised to hear that the girls have been trafficked to Shan State in Myanmar though, obviously they are being taken to work near the casinos near the Chinese border which cater for Chinese gamblers.
