hello,quick rundown to see if any one any ideas...firstly hes a 1 yr old english bull terrier.

since i come back ,from a few days holiday, he seems different.someone looked after him by feeding him and water etc at the house and he spent most of the time in enclosed large garden as usual.since coming back he seems tired all the time,sleeps a lot more than usual...before he was happy to spend most of his time outside and watching passers by and yapping at neighbours dogs.

he did have his yearly injections a few weeks ago and might understand if he had side effects but that was ages ago now.

he is still eating normally.

he likes to be near us more now...like all the time and sleeps a hel_l of a lot and not bothered to be outside now.seems like he missed us but why the sleeping..hes only a yr old.he seems fairly healthy apart from this.....been a few days now like this ..like an old man already!

anyone any ideas...ive had dogs before and cant put my finger on this one.thanks.

maybe he has a doggy bug and might recover on his own in a few days more???

Could pe P;Off Rob, i had a boxer that sulked if id left him !,. id suggest taking him for a long walk/run on the beach or similar,followed by chicken off a barow on the way home ,.that should swing it, it wont be an illness i doubt, only my opinion,...

thanks for advice...i thought he might be a bit angry/sulky but why the extra sleeping...well over 16 hours in a single day......bull terriers normally full o beans.hes been out for walks and cheers up then but when back at the house hes all sleepy and boring ...dont wanna play.maybe hes getting older but hey hes only 1..my other dogs didnt calm down till well past 2/3 yrs old.just to mention he gets chicken everyday anyway and extra treats.

maybe hes confused as to what happened as always sleeps in our bed and air con on allnight and when we was away he had to stay outside..had dog bed ...not hard floor.

he gets treated better than any other dog i know.....im sure he thinks he is the king of thailand,my mrs treats him better than me ,thats for sure.ta

it looks very familiar to a staff but it looks a little larger ie taller/fatter than a pure bred staff.its hard to tell how tall it really is as no one standing next to it but looks like a cross breed and might have staff and some sort of mastiff too ......maybe???

My Golden Lab tries to mount her every 5 seconds, sometimes the head end

im afraid too many thais do not take care of there dogs and im not sure why they want one when they just leave it tied up all day...so well done

i think you will have to invest in a ladder soon if your golden lab is still keen over the next few months

I am finding it really difficult to find an English speaking (native or totally fluent) fitness trainer (F/T) to work for me in Kanchaniburi.

I am offering good money on a similar basis to an experienced english teacher with free food and accomodation but I am not getting anywhere.

Does anyone have any suggestions where i can advertise to get a better response.

Agreed the room is small but it is brand new, very clean, has cable tv. high speed wireless, full cooking facilities and a decent sized bathroom. Below it is a choice of gyms and pools, above it is tennis courts, saunas, basketball etc. and across the road is another pool, restaurant, more gyms and saunas, all included in the price.

When you look at the total package the price is more than competitive.

I've spent a long tome in pattaya and have never seen a local attack a foreigner unprovoked. Every situation of violence I've seen (I"ve seen a lot) has some how been provoked been provoked by the foreigner. If you're chill, thais are chill. If your stir them up, then you've got a problem.

THAIMAN i wish you had been there the night i was attacked by a sword wielding nutter off soi buckow (soi 21) becuase in his opinion my car got too close to his car. i was pulled out of my car and threatened to be run through with a sword whilst all the time he was screaming 'you scared falang? you scared? i f**king kill you!' i managed to break away, with a minor slash wound to my forearm and manged to put a parked car between him and me. after swinging his sword around a lot and trying to skewer me over the roof of the car, he threatented me that he will get me another time, he finally ran off and drove away. this was 8-30 pm, on a saturday night, there were maybe 50 witnesses and i had not had a drink for a week. i got his car number, called the police from my mobile, with the help of a thai hairdresser from a nearby shop who spoke to them. They came to the scene, i gave them the number which was now written on my bloody forearm in a pen i snatched from a phone table outside a shop and told me to go to the police station at soi 9 who initially tried to say i was at fault, maybe i was drunk, i told them i had not had a drink in a week and i offered a piss/blood test and i insisted they look at my car outside as they accused me of maybe causing an accident so then it would have been me that made him angry. after defending off many attempts by them to turn this into my problem, i told them this guy was still out there why didn't they put an alert over the radio for him? they said had to wait for boss to say so. i said wheres the boss? they said out! i said on a saturday night? can you not call him? they said he not have mobile, i said well check the assailants car number on the computer, they said it was down for the weekend in Chonburi and they could not access it until monday. i said you are joking and taking the piss, i sensed they knew more than they were letting on. my friend who had joined me by then witnesed all this and thought it best left. he said it was clear nothing was going to happen and something was amiss. i took his advise and left. i did however make some enquiries on the monday with some friends in the know and hey guess what? he was an off duty, out on the piss cop from Siracha. the most scary part of this whole deal was just before i seized the opportunity to break away from him, he looked inside the car to see if anyone else was in there hidden behind the dark tint. i knew then this was a professional of some kind. this guy knew what he was doing, had i not broke away at the point who knows what might have happened? i now have pepper spray velcro'd to the air vent near the door frame so at least i can grab something defensive on the way out if it happens again. i also make sure i lock my car doors now when out and about. has it changed me? yes, a great deal and also my opinions of Thais in general. i take great care when i am out now, i am looking for situations to avoid. it has in many ways spoilt things for me and my family. in my opinion he is a bullying, cowardly scum bag who without his sword to support his miniscule manhood, would have had the battering he thoroughly deserved and then no doubt so would i, when the rest of the cowardly scum in the area joined in to defend one of there own.then what of the aftermath of a sword wielding cop on an unharmed, non agressive, non intoxicated farang in a road rage incident in a quiet backwater of Pattaya? what would the headlines have read then? how would tat have been justified, what lies would have been told to cover it up? anyway i have said my piece, its all true so fire away flamers and doubters, i am ready for you!

Like others in all my years in Thailand (over 20!) I may be able to list 3 or 4 incidents?

Now if you were to ask to list traffic accidents, I couldn't even start to remember them all, what does that tell you?

Tatoodrob: Takes two parties to have an incident. Sounds like the violence rate in Pattaya would be greatly reduced if you moved to another place.

actually it would be the opposite as ive stopped more fights in the past than i can remember and also ive let things go when other people in same situation would certainly strike out.i had a bar in soi 8 where i stopped fights every night,i could of been a jerk and just let the drunk <deleted> knock <deleted> out of each other for no other reason apart from there drunk......i suppose it was my fault they were fighting too yes it takes two or more people to make an incident but when a person is very drunk and intent on starting a fight for no reason it doesnt make it easy........pattaya is full of people who cant handle there drink ,and this is the problem,not me.i hope one night some big aggressive drunk starts pushing you and touching your wife/girlfriend .....goodluck,coz if it was in my bar i would have sorted it out for you in a calm way but hey you know it all so.....goodluck....you will need it.

are u in the real world .........or u probobly only go to your local everynight(or teetotal)......or your wife doesnt get hit on by drunk farangs thinking every lady is fair game,

i like to go out late at night as thats my choice ....i like to goto discos....thats my choice.....you get drunks who want to fight....thats not my choice..thats life....il send them round to yours as i must be causing trouble.....you can talk to them,suits me.

Does anyone have a rough guide regarding the cost of getting the windows tinted on an average sized 5 door saloon car. I've had one quote so far and they wanted 10,000 baht ("special offer" reduced from 15,000 - so they said!). It seemed a bit steep to me.

Of course I have no real idea of the costs of the materials or how long this takes to do so if I am underestimating the costs involved then fair enough.

I'd just like an idea of what people paid so that I have a rough idea to use when trying to get a good deal. I don't want to get ripped off but I don't want to insult the guys either... If it makes any difference I am after a fairly dark tint, my car is like an oven after being left in the sun for an hour or so...

hello..i had my new fortuna tinted real dark for free but i did ask how much it would be if had to pay and i think they said 6000 bt so i think you should be able to get it done for around that or cheaper as your car is smaller.....if you can then get a thai to take it to the shop then you will get the proper price

As to a bird with a cracked beak to our knowledge we never have had one with a cracked beak and would love for you to have pointed it out to us. We have a bird with one eye, a sugar glider with 3 legs and a Muloccan Cockatoo that we bought off of a breeder because of the conditions she had to live in and she had lost her mate and they could not find another. We care about out animals, giving them TLC and also will give same TLC to your birds if you need babysitting.

Go back to JJ and try to get service or complain that the bird died the next day, one of our customers did and they laughed at him when he wanted a refund or another bird.

Why would a drunk, off-duty cop, suddenly intervene and slap a woman, for no apparent reason.

The Thai boyfriend is an odd piece in all of this, especially since it is somewhat rare for them to be friends with ex and current lovers, and then suddenly a random shooting occurs in a small town? Bizarre, but, it is all speculation right now.

It could be that outrageous. We won't know for awhile, if we ever know.

So both the woman and her Thai boyfriend claim the thai cop murdered the Canadian man and tried to murder the woman in complete cold blood. And he's out free, is it just me that thinks she wont live much longer with a crazed maniac murderer on the loose who will most likely make a second attempt on her life, especially now to keep her quiet?

well yes that does add a big twist in the story..........in this case i think as there could be a few witnesss the truth should come out uness they are too scared but it seems her boyfriend was there and is thai so i will be especially interested as to what he has to say.....hopefully the truth as his farang girlfriend was nearly killed.if what the shot young lady says is true then i hope they put the the stupid cop to his death.this is a complete tragedy.it was reported that it was pre meditated so looks like the farang story could be true as he went to get his gun after from his bike!!! if this is the case then do you think he is gonna turn up to court...no....thats why they are giving him a chance to run now before it really hits the fan................unbelievable and sad.

you didnt say whether you were gonna take injectables or tablets.

there are many different types with differing side effects/results.i suggest you do a google search on anabolic steroids and work out which one would be good for you.i believe a few steroid products are manufactured in thailand so these may be the ones more readily available

i also believe (may be wrong )there has been no scientific proof that a short course of very mild anabolic steroids has a long lasting detrimental effect on any organs of the body....liver enzymes may be elevated while "on" but will return to original values shortly after.now if you were thinking of a long term continued excessive steroid use then this may be a different story as with taking any drug in over recommended dosages can cause problems.

visit a few pharmacies....or ask ,nicely , an expat musclehead next time your in the gym and hope he dont rip your head off in a steroid rage and he may tell you where he gets his from.

to help lose fat specifically then adding cardio to your workouts and eating healthy but with high protein intake is probably better than taking another drug to do this.keep beer intake to a very very low level too if you wanna get some sort of six pack going on .

if you get really stuck then p.m. me but you should get a bit of basic knowledge as to what your taking and how.

look up the price of an I-Pod to see how much cheaper electronic goods are.

It is a really nice photo. If i had to nit-pick I would say, remove the car in the background to give it a 'timeless' feel and deal with the shadow on his right foot (or left as you look at it) as it seems to be invisible.

What camera did you use?

mr.gently i blew up the pic and cant see anything wrong with shadow on any of his feet........it seems to be in order with how it should be considering foot position to the sun........nit picker

Or you could eliminate the drug from your diet that makes you hungry - sugar.

i still get hungry infact very hungry and i eat very little sugar(is it classed as a drug??) in my diet except natural sugars like in fruit.everybody is different as i can eat every 2 hours due to hunger but not put any fat/weight on ..well i could up to the age of 25 ish , i have to be a little careful now ive hit middleage.

i still cant recommend drugs for weight loss as they tend to be a temporary solution and as soon as you stop could rebound even worse.....regular healthy eating and exercise is more long term but obviously boring

seriously i know someone who would get some strong diet pills here and take them back with them,sorry i didnt take any notice of the name ,but remember anything that really works will have some side effects that you may not like.i suggest you do a google search on diet drugs/pills and take a list to local pharmacy or pharmacy in tourist area and see what they got.....a lot of thai ladies like to take pills if they put a kilo on ..so might be worth asking around as to what works.
