    Who wrote this absolute drivil? Tranquil shores of Phuket- are we on the same planet here? Friendly natives...yep, there are some but generally not. Super medical care? It's pot luck if you get proper treatment and NO legal comeback. Ask hop-along-cassidy who had one leg shorter that his other after treatment here. Crazy stupid nonsense of an article.

Yes, there are cases here of good surgery - but Thailand does seem to have more than its fair share of rubbish surgeons. A BIG issue is that there is no true legal comeback

    Ive a strong stomach but that Mail photo is too graphic for me. Are we surprised? Cost cutting on maintenance is endemic in Thailand. I wouldn't be surprised if the maintenance budget allocated somehow just "disappeared".

    Horrid, what a horror story. Her right hand seems to be totally gangerous-not "just" her fingers? I'm no medic, others here would have such knowledge, but how did kidney issues lead to her being chopped up? Possibly the lack of senior doctors having a ball for Songkran.

    Seems all normal now. But people, thankfully in low numbers, are still dying, others in hospital ICU and many with lung issues. Long Covid is a serious overlooked problem.? We all went through a planet changing epidemic. Will it ever end?

    Full sympathies to you, Kylee. It goes to show you that you don't have to fall far to be critically injured, or even die. It does appear that she is getting excellent treatment. Here's to her full and speedy recovery. ps...I fell heavily a couple of months back on a sloping wet ffootpath.My head missed a concrete window sill by centimetres. There for the grace of God go I.

    O dear...yet another one! Do they think beer, bottles of vodka are free in Thailand? Seriously? What gets into their dumb ass brains.?? Would you not think that they would keep their heads down and avoid any illegal activity for fear of being deported.? You're in Thailand idiot....not the soft West where you'd have no problem getting off for fear of anything happening to yiu if deported.
