  1. And to think all this off-topic rambling and flaming started with simply supplying a link to a BBC article.

    Quod erat demonstrandum

I thought all postings had to be in English ?

I'm sorry.I will translate as Churchill, an Old Harrovian, once said in parliament "for the benefit of any Old Etonians that might be present".

It means "Let's quote demonstrations even when they are in error"

    I don't make the rules.

I'm just here as a straight man to allow you to waffle on............... :o

  2. For me it's not a problem if "Ronnie" stays or goes as S.A.F. has been through this scenario before (and More).

Fergie hasnt been in the situation of having the Worlds best footballer aged only 23 with many years at his peak ahead of him wanting to leave (allegedly).

Every top player thats ever left Manu under Fergie has left because he didnt want them i.e. Stam, Beckham, Van Nistleroy.

    O.K. I stand corrected

I can see one has to dot ones I's and cross ones T's. Perhaps I should have said that Fergie has been through very similar circimstances time & time again, sometimes it's about money, sometimes it's about playing more often and sometimes it's just plain old big ego time. But when all is said and done if Fergie reckons that your heart & soul is not at Old Trafford then you're out.

I have faith in Fergie & Co to sort it out, the only time I query S.A.F. is when he selects Fletcher to play in a game (I have this theory that he's Fergies secret love child....... :o .)

  3. Well it looks Sparky has gone over to the Blue side of Manchester.

When I first heard the news I must admit to having mixed emotions as I often have thought that Mark could one day manage United (Great for an Old Boy) I felt a bit like he' d gone over to the other side but I guess realistically he'd gone about as far as he could go with Blackburn and really could do with a bigger and better challenge (Though I sincerely hope that Thaksin doesn't screw him around)

Anyway now that I've had time for it to sink in I really do wish him every success - well almost ! They can be runners up to United in a couple of years - but that's it !

    :o:D:D .

  4. unlike the WC2006, the "EURO2008" almost doesnt exist in this Forum..... probably has to do with a particular nation not being part of it, and their usually extremely outspoken and self-confident supporters keeping a low profile these days.... :D

by the way: which non-Thai stations will show the games ? ESPN, Super-sport, Star-Sport or which of those usual suspects ? anybody in the know ?

They won't let Australia come and play at Euro 2008 - (probably worried that we'd make it through to the semi-finals) - that's why this extremely outspoken and self-confident supporter is keeping a low profile.

    :o . :D . :D . :D . :D .

Thanks for the report Agent Bino - though you did forget to tell us how the coffee & quiche tasted........ :o

To those agents on "Operation Stool Fool" tomorrow please remember that you are doing us all proud, however T.V. is in no way responsible for your actions and distances itself from any involvement.

    Good Luck Jim
