Annie Lennox would be proud of you!

Above is right, if you have an existing motor bike license, then you only do the reflex / eye tests,

Funcat, change to who?

I know where Pattaya 3 is, but it's bloody crowded most weekends, in the middle of Sakon Nakorn,
No jungle places I do know of, but no where near the area you want.

Flights to Laos oddly, seems to be a irregular service

Out of reach of many, and most places gone, but there is a "small" cinema franchise starting, small as in each cinema seats a smaller number of people, franchise I think is less than 2 million per cinema, inc the building costs. I think first sites being built now.
Rule in Asia regardless your doing a big business or small shop, your in Asia, work on Asian prices and margins.Exceptions to rules (cars) but most cases this is the case often over looked.

My wife does the same. So far just drunken farangs and one chap convinced his wife was after him.

It's a Pajota.
I like that!
Exactly, as a Everest driver, why I wouldn't want this new one, I like the current styling, it's a lot like the boxy Range Rovers, I suspect some influence there. This one, nah, I like retro styling, big ugly boxes if I have to be in a truck.

Anna creek may be large, but it doesn't grow much, takes that much land to feed 3000 cows. I've worked on Yakkamunda, that time it was just a few hundred sq miles, earlier days over 1000, still, not a lot grows there.
Back on the Liverpool Plains, one of Australia's most fertile areas, you can get wheat up to two tonne an acre, not sure what the rice yield is, but it's pretty good at times, then a few years in between, nothing.Comparing a huge Aussie property with a Thai one isn't apples and oranges.

Your new passport gets a weird stamp in it, never bothered to read it as I get a new passport every few years, I suspect exactly as said above. Fairly easy and painless.

Mods, I would seriously like to see this thread locked, identifying young children, which this thread has done, who are at risk, only opens them up to all sorts of predators,
PLEASE LOCK AND DELETE for the children's own sense of privacy and safety.
The Embassy knows and is acting, I see nothing here that is helping, but I do see it opening them up unwanted attention.
It must be hard enough with out some nuts approaching them cold offering maybe help, maybe who knows what!
If anything happened to these kids, the mods leaving this open to identify the kids should be seriously looked at.

Every time I go they close the lane being stocked so no one can walk down it. It's annoying as I have to wait till the forklift is gone before the lane is cleared as safe for shoppers, pretty much the opposite of the OP experience.

Jing-Joe Pizza in Sawang does all you can eat pasta nights, used to be Tuesdays, now moved to Thursday, only during school terms as nearly everyone who comes are teachers.

I was in Canada a few years back and didn't have a current visa. knowing I was traveling one way back and airlines don't like a one way ticket to Thailand for someone not with a visa, I bought a ticket on line from Nok Air for Bangkok to Vientiane (Udon Thani and bus across).
Sure enough at the Canada Airlines check in counter they asked for a visa, when I didn't have one they asked for proof of leaving Thailand, I gave them a printed out copy of my Nok Air itinerary, and accepted it.
Note I live near Udon, so the extra few $'s for the bus was money well spent.
Got my visa up to date now

So wife get's a call from the man at Mitsuibishi,
"Can I come and see you about the finance, ?"
Note we'd put down 150 000 deposit.
He arrives (I am in Bangkok) and the finance man says "The deposit is too high, we don't make enough money, can you only put down 100 000 baht please and pay over 5 years not 4 please.
Wife thinks <deleted>?
She calls me, I get the Mitsui man on the phone,
No contract, piss off,
He's used to me subtle negotiating, "No Mr J, sorry, but can you help"
No piss off
"What can I do please Mr J?"
I tell him, "you sell cars, not finance, you want to be a bank, open a bank, you want to sell cars, don't waste my time"
The two of them then call respective companies,
Then the Mitsui man calls another finance company, same deal as original, who we have accounts with in Bangkok
He tells me, (wife says later the man from finance company went white)
OK - I have another finance company do the same deal.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH
Sorry Mr J I don't understand?
NOT GOOD ENOUGH, YOU WASTE MY WIFE TIME, MY TIME,
Sorry Mr J
NOT GOOD ENOUGH
"What can I do Mr J"?
Get me a rate LOWER than before or I buy the car in Bangkok.
Minutes later I get a marginal discount, really, over life of loan it's a few thousand baht
But i figure they need to suffer some pain,
Wife signs new contract with Mitsu, first loan man looks very glum,
I have a simple rule, once you start to re-negotiate, that means things move in BOTH directions, depending on who is holding the cards. If you fail to re-negotiate, you DON'T EVER get the same deal as before,
**** Disguised profanity removed****!
Still pissed off.

Funny how tastes go, I really like the Attrage styling, I was leaning to Mirage until I saw the Attrage.
I was VERY pro Honda Brio, but onse the wife said
"it looks like a washing machine" I hated it,
Remember the Honda ZOT?

Agree SBK, if you want to help, be there and get involved, otherwise it isn't doing them any good just gossiping.

New "Mini Bar' opened up,
I think the chap there is German, nice bloke, same place as every other German bar Sawang has had. Must be in the lease?
Anyone in Sawang Saturday would know we had amazing torrential downpour that washed out Bung (hole) Bar and Porn's, then had no electricity.
So decided to try out the new place,
Got there to see roller shutters pulled down against the rain, but underneath music and glittery lights.
Inside the chap was very pleasant, same lady as previously, very nice lady may I add, plus some girls who made us all laugh and generally, for a washout (2 feet of water in main street) was a good night cap!

Took one for a test drive on Saturday, similar size to the Mazda 2 and slightly smaller than vios. Huge boot, could hide a few bodies in there.
So put down a deposit on the manual version, 10 000 off list price, free 1st class insurance, fog lights, film for windows, interest a tad steep at 2%, couldn't get lower.
Was very happy with test drive, not a zippy car by any means, but suits me fine for the city.
