I am 82 and when my wife reached the age of 65 a portion of my pension was deducted and paid directly to her. this will continue after my death, until her demise., this is because sge and i were eligible under the old rules in force prior to 29126. this arrangement no longer applies
I have taught English on line for many years and now Am a keen advocate of Off2Class which not only has lesson content from A1 to C1 grades but also provides homework and most importantly a proficiency test thast allows you to establish the level at which to start the student
When I lived in Chon Buri I regularly drove up to Bangkok to attend Christchurch in Soi Convent. I felt as though I was back home in a church in an English village. I really recommens it
I think this is a distorted view of someone living in a foreigner orientated hotspot. I have lived in Thailand with my Thai wife for over 20 years in Uttaradit province and am the sole "farang" living in my village.
Places such as Pattaya and Phuket are far from being representative of Thailand as a whole

Not sure if this is the correct forum. If not will someone please move to correct location. I am an 80 year old retired British expat who has lived in Thailand for the past 22 years. I have an ongoing dispute with HMRC and would welcome advice on an inexpensive UK-based tax advisor who can help me obtain a long-standing tax refund.
Many thanks in advance for your advice and assistance
