  1. It’s never a good idea to adopt the brutal methods (i.e. war crimes) of your opponent, and I’m sure those in command in the Ukrainian army will do anything to prevent that from happening. Show the world, and Russia in particular, that you can take prisoners of war and treat them according to the Geneva convention.
  2. If these maps are accurate, then Ukraine is making real progress in kicking Russia back to where they came from.
  3. Which one? This thread is crawling with them, never seen so many before on this forum.
  4. The Russian 1st Guard Tank Army (1GTA) had to retreat from Charkiv Oblast over the last week. 1GTA was intended to lead counter-attacks in the case of a war with NATO. It will likely take years for Russia to rebuild this capability.
  5. As expected, after having to retreat with their tails between their legs, the Russians show themselves to be petty and sore losers and resort to acts of sabotage and terrorism. No wonder they are fleeing in such large numbers, it’s because they know they are despised by the Ukrainians and fear reprisals.
  6. 7. You forgot to mention that Crimea most certainly did not ‘choose’ to go with Russia, as that poster claimed. 8. Ukrainians most certainly didn’t/don’t welcome the Russians. On the contrary, I would say, as anyone can witness on a daily basis.
  7. If seeing sense is looking the other way when a fascist bully state invades a democracy and commits the most atrocious war crimes on a daily basis in the process, then the Thais are indeed seeing sense. Nothing to be very proud of, though.
  8. You admire some real whackjobs: https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Brian_Gerrish https://www.indy100.com/politics/who-is-george-galloway-batley-spen-b1876914
  9. Maybe you should read this! https://fullfact.org/online/great-reset-conspiracy-theory/
  10. Anything that confirms their warped sense of reality is an ‘independent view’ to these people. Anything that does not fit their warped sense of reality is fake news or propaganda. Go figure.
  11. Why waste so much time and energy on this Lapamita character? Nobody can be that ignorant, so he’s clearly shilling/trolling. Doesn’t matter what you post, 100% true and factual, he will never believe you.
  12. You must be watching a lot of RT, or other Russian state controlled media outlets, if you actually believe all that propaganda tripe you’re posting.
  13. And in whose pockets do you think most (if not all) of that $1bn a day will flow?
  14. Lot of Putin fan boys here, I would almost suspect someone at one of the Russian troll factories gave the order to flood this thread with bullsh*t and misinformation. They are all repeating the same old Kremlin talking points, trapped in their cocoon of Russian propaganda and lies, and at the same time accusing others of spreading fake news. This kind of shilling is just pathetic and so transparant.
  15. Maybe you could share with us where you do your research? Because your conclusion that Russia was undeniable forced into this sad conflict is at least a little iffy.
  16. As opposed to the visceral hatred of all things Ukrainian by Putin cum suis (including Lavrov)? They want to eradicate Ukraine and kill every Ukrainian who opposes that, or maybe they just want to kill every Ukrainian, the jury still seems to be out on that. And you call that statesmanship?
  17. Any Thai minister (or in this case a deputy Minister) would shake hands with the devil himself if there was a deal to be made. Despicable.
  18. No, they won’t. Ukraine right now is kicking some serious Russian @ss.
  19. How is this news? More like standard operational procedure and everyday practice in Thailand, where those in power have absolutely no shame, no morals and no ethics, other than lining their own pockets in every possible way that they can and they don’t care who they have to screw over
  20. The car of colonel Artem Bardin, the Russian military commander of Berdyansk, was blown up with a car bomb, apparently by Ukrainian resistance fighters. Bardin was severely injured and died later in the hospital.
  21. Agreed. And not just Ukraine, but the whole of Europe and possibly NATO. We’re seeing a new axis of evil emerge (Russia, Iran, North-Korea), just like in WWII. One of the problems is that lots of rich people are making lots of money off of this, and they really don’t give two hoots if they have to set the world on fire - literally and/or figuratively- to make an extra billion or two. Scary times.
  22. Ben Stiller, Sean Penn permanently banned from entering Russia. I’m sure they will be crushed…. https://variety.com/2022/film/news/ben-stiller-sean-penn-banned-from-russia-1235360858/
  23. Russian forces continue to suffer from morale and discipline issues in Ukraine. In addition to combat fatigue and high casualties, one of the main grievances from deployed Russian soldiers probably continues to be problems with their pay.
