  1. Hi Badger

    Good question

This is from memory cant find the old passport i need amongst the pile

i am UK citizen in my case old passport is deleted corner cut off all pages and covers

    • except for valid visa stamp and re entry page they made stickers/tags for pages to be left uncut at embassy (yes a few years ago)

i dont think anything happened to the original stamp page i.e it was cut

Your embassy or agent will know for sure

The authorities publish all the rules about being tested and so on, but there is nothing about being quarantined in hotels and having to foot the bill. Likewise, if they are admitted to hospital after testing positive, but showing no symptoms, or because they sat next to a positive case on the plane, the insurance companies are not likely to pay out.

This should be stated clearer on the various websites

I am living here BUT i would assume as a tourist whatever you job etc YOU have insurance

Thailand says so, cant get in otherwise

NOW this insurance everyone is making a song and dance about

it is useful and pays or is a complete waste of money and a fraud case!

    Which is it?

But we have still too many unvaccinated of poorly vaccinated people Thailand. Postponing the Omicron onslaught by a few weeks will save lives. Whether you get a bad case or not isn't our problem, as it would be your choice to come under uncertain times.

    I live here

I am poorly vaccinated 1 sinovax 1 AZ

I am trying to get booster as flying to uk in Feb is it possible no

How long do you to want to delay/shut borders to solve this

You are fortunate.... but mostly if one stays clear, that will be the case. I have seen gangs of drunken yobs drunk or drugged chasing each other through the streets of Pattaya with sticks and rocks.... now they carry knives.

Been here 23 years (and have a few great Thai male friends ) BUT as a general rule of thumb avoid Thai males as much as possible

    Even family ones!

As an Arsenal supporter, I am sorry to see that you do not include in your  calculations all the unfit-for-purpose referees in the  EPL.

As a Wolves supporter can we all have a whip round to buy Mike Dean* a motorbike (* hideously incapable some would even say biased referee)

    where do you live?

If you live in the capital city (Bangkok), it'd take between 1 hour and 3 hour to reach CW. Multiply by 2 (for return)

    Two points:

    1. We have other, much more interesting, things to do (working, for example) than visiting immigration offices. I guess retirees have other plans too!

    2. With Covid better to avoid crowded places... don't you think?

    Just my 2 cents

If you are working surely someone can found to do it for you isnt that what's staff for

I'm only a 15 minute drive from our local office, but I'd still rather do it online than go there. The old system mostly worked for me.

Personally Would never consider interweb immigration intercourse

For me its a 20 minute drive to border office

And about personally  30 seconds at most in the office (well as long as a scan and printer takes)

It never hurts to chat up your local  IO mafia  especially if you are in the sticks

    Doubling how quickly?

Waiting for a booster IF you can get one earlier is totally silly now.

You'll be infected before you get it.

Yup you can bet on that

They simply cannot cope with normal let alone bouster injections

If in Bangkok at Bang Sue. Book on the Dtac vaccine website (I found that one to be most user friendly) and I think you can do walkin at BangSue to get a booster.

    Please check i tried

YOU have to have previous injections at Bang Sue this has been verified by wife and daughter in law

    otherwise i would have travelled

"For those that make the effort there is a way."

Let me explain my comment better: For those that are prepared to travel to where there are known to be vaccines.

I gave some known locations above.

Wasn't Prachuap Khiri Khan one of the first receipients of the Pfizer vaccine? Correct me if I'm wrong.

NO first vaccines here were SIN AZ

Dont know what they are offering now fizer or moderna or AZ either way they have not got any

Isn't BKK Bang Sue far enough to travel????

    AND NO!!

i am not running around Thailand farther than that or paying for stuff that might take months to come

i will keep myself tidy and wait, anyway leaving Feb Mar and  get sorted in UK

For those that make the effort there is a way. This is not a postcode lottery like when the Pfizer first arrived and was restricted to certain areas. Anyone from any province in Thailand is accepted.

I recommend you try in Prachuap Khiri khan then

simply put last week no boosters dont know when they are coming

tried to get done  in bang Sue but they will only boost people injected there

So sorry not a walk in get done arrangement
