Oh dear ,I can see some of your posts are "real intelligent" , so i refrain from commenting to you further after this. It was a simple post i thought , but yet as I have seen alot in Thai Visa , some guys just want to shoot you down and mud sling. It would be nice if some members would have considered that it was a fair subject to ask about and to with samui's history also, (oh deary, did not knw it was taboo)... or maybe you do not have anything intelligent to add other than simple insults (like a few of your other posts). For someone new here i like to learn.

It was in fact just my flippant way of trying to communicate to you that it was perhaps not too intelligent to be wading through these murky waters regarding Samui Families, just as it wouldn't be too smart to be doing the same thing with similar families in Sardinia! Maybe you have still not got the picture? It appears that many people on here know who you are because they have actually referred to what appears to be your name. This is not an area to be getting too involved in over here. With regard to using the phrase that your intelligence is artificial, I would just like to say that that was a play on the name that you gave yourself. The people that say "its there, accept or don´t" i can´t agree with at all. Ok if the party was already there when you rented a house. Then you either accept it, or you move someplace else. Easy.

But if you bought or builded a house before the party, then the party comes and you dont want to live there anymore. The lakeroad is well known for this loud party. Offcourse it affects the price of the house and it might not be so easy to seel it nowadays.

It´s really not my buisness or any of my concerns, but i still think it´s unique for Thailand to set up this kind of extreme event in the middle of a living area. In many countries this would not be aloud. You´d need to have an agreement from the peope living there before opening. The lakeview party has several phonecalls to the police everytime it´s on and nothing happens. Don´t get me wrong, i dont want to stop the party, many people have fun there and thats a good thing. I´m just questioning the location....

My wife doesn't like the taste of salt in the water so we converted to chlorine. If you decide to go salt water, i have a salt water chlorinator machine from Poolrite (Austrailia) that i only used for about 3 months. It was 50,000 new, i'll sell it for half price if you are interested, PM me.

finally i know how much a chlorine generator costs. not taking interest on capital investment into consideration the initial cost is equivalent to a 12 (TWELVE) years supply of quality stabilised chlorine. oh well... suckers are indeed born every minute.

1) Tie rope to child's ankle.

2) Throw child into deep end of nearest swimming pool. ( Optionally, into sea from a boat)

3) Wait for child to swim.

4) In the event of child not swimming and or no more bubbles, retrieve child using rope. (Go to 5))

5) Take child to hospital for recovery. ( Please ensure you take child to a hospital that Mark Wolfe has not convinced to ban Child Admississions)

i wouldnt be too concerned about this party happening again, it was a huge loss for someone that was desperate for a huge influx of cash. all the money spent to promote the event was borrowed, the event was a disaster, attendance was very poor and half of them were non paying. lol @ connected. this man is about as connected as my big toe is to this keyboard.

look for a legitimate international hotel chain to be taking over that property soon, at a very big bargain discount price.

The point is if you are a native -you know the people who lived there a long time for generations- they already learned to ignore most things and know there place in society. And they know when to protest and when to shut up. The newcomers who feel that they are 'local' after a while still have some problems with that. The western 'luggage' is to dominant.

I have that problem, so i left. With me this realisation kicked in about after a year. For some that process is slower and some don't have that problem.

But to stay on topic, if you know who owns Buddy Bar, and you know who runs this 'party', you need a very powerful friend to make them stop.
